Early Fall Try-On: Old Navy, LOFT, & More

Happy hump day! Today I’m sharing an early fall try-on from some of my favorite stores. I have a longer skirt and dress for those who prefer a longer style.

Early Fall Try-On

This skirt is so comfortable! I styled it with a black fitted tee, but there are more ways to wear it, the skirt will look cute with a sweater or a white tee and a denim jacket.

Fitted Long Sleeve Pullovers Tee (TTS, I’m wearing a small) • Pull-on skirt (TTS, I’m wearing a small) • Dolce Vita Paily Sandal (less expensive option here) • Earrings

This is such a pretty dress and is a great workwear option. I think it runs big, so size down.

This outfit is my early fall uniform! These pants from LOFT are soft and come in several different colors.

I love a white blouse any time of the year. It looks good with denim but will also look good with dress pants.

Tie-Neck Puff Sleeve Top (I’m wearing an XS, TTS for LOFT) • J.Crew Jeans (I’m wearing a 27) • EarringsWedge Sandal

This tee is on sale for $6, and it’s perfect for a casual day.

V-Neck Tee (TTS, I’m wearing a small) • 7 For All Mankind Jeans (I’m wearing a 27, less expensive option HERE) • New Balance Sneakers (TTS) • Earrings

I thought this tee had a fallish look and makes it perfect for early fall. Also, these mule sneakers are a great option for fall.

Beauty For the Heart~~ Being in a hurry. Getting to the next thing without fully entering the thing in front of me. I cannot think of a single advantage I’ve ever gained from being in a hurry. But a thousand broken and missed things, tens of thousands, lie in the wake of all the rushing…. Through all that haste I thought I was making up time. It turns out I was throwing it away.

  1. Do you really pay $199 for jeans or do you get a discount for promoting them. Do you know of any fashion bloggers for women on average income in our age bracket? Something trendy and fashionable from JCP, Kohl’s, Target, Maurices, H&M, Loft outlet,

  2. Great BFTH so true of my last week! I can’t believe the last outfit is old navy! That’s my favorite one.

  3. Great early Fall outfits! I have the ON tee and am wearing it tomorrow with dark grey Zella joggers to a dermatologist appointment. It looks great on you!

  4. I’m so glad to see that you’ve styled a camo shirt. I actually went into the Old Navy store today – before reading your post – and purchased the camo tee in the Pink Camo color. I’m pairing it with some joggers from Old Navy that are sort of a burgundy color…I believe they are called Raisin Arizona. Anyway, I went in to find a shirt to wear with the joggers and that’s what I came away with so I was delighted to see that camo is still relevant! Blessings!

  5. Thank you for the BFTH….so needed it. I’ve been rushing around all week trying to get ready for weekend company and not enjoying anything right now. Great fall post.

    1. Cyndi, when is the best time to shop for fall/winter boots? I wear a size 6 1/2 and unfortunately it is a popular size and i seem to shop too early (in hopes of finding my size before it is gone & before the store inventory is in stock or on sale, or I shop too late trying to find a sale. please help! Also would like to find an over the knee boot, that is suitable for my age: 57… or do you recommend?
