Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart™~~ This month I’m continuing to focus on thankfulness. Life is not perfect and we have seasons of happiness and seasons of sorrow but I find when I count my blessings it changes how I see things.

This quote from C.S. Lewis reminds us to be thankful because our hope is in eternity.

We ought to give thanks for all fortune: if it is good, because it is good, if bad because it works in us patience, humility, and the contempt of this world and the hope of our eternal country.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. Hi Cyndi,

I love your style, your energy, your devotion to family.
I also love the look you wear of camisoles under cardigans. What kind of bra do you wear under the camis?
    Thanks!
    Happy Thanksgiving!
    Warmly,
    Julie Marshall

  2. I love cardigans too! I love how you styled all of these outfits. I use root touch up as well. However, the L’Oreal root touch up flakes in my hair, I’m not sure why. My hair stylist recommended a root touch up called, Style Edit touch up spray. I bought it at the salon, but they also sell it on Amazon. It feels like a dry shampoo, so it covers the grey in between salon visits, but also gives the extra volume of a dry shampoo. It’s amazing!!

  3. Hi Cindi,
I love the camisole you always recommend, but I am wondering what you wear under it? Do you wear a strapless bra?
    Thank you,
    Diana

  4. Love the BFTH. I bought this cardigan from Gibson when you first styled it but I ended up returning it. I also bought an XS but I felt it was too skimpy coming around to cover the front and for the price I decided not to keep it. However, it was very soft and comfy. Great ideas for how to style it. I wouldn’t have thought to style washed out black jeans with brown sweater.

  5. Thank you for that post. I have a cardigan
just like that and would not have thought
of the green pants, black top and animal
print belt (all of which I have) to wear
    with that color cardigan!

  6. Very cute and versatile cardigan. I like it best with the grey jeans but I need it look for a less expensive option. Your face looks very tan. Did you get a darker foundation?

      1. I love duster cardigans. I have several. I love the look with the dress. I like the boots. I went the link to Amazon but I have given up on ordering tall boots. I just returned a pair to Nordstrom. Too big in calves and circumference. I’m going to have to splurge and order specialty boots for slim calves from a company that makes just slim calf boots. It’s going to cost me about$200 but they are real leather. They also have free shipping and free returns.

  7. Fabulous post, Cyndi! The Beauty for the Heart spoke directly to me, and I love a cardigan, too! Thank you for all you do.
