The Season’s Top Coats from Nordstrom

Tremendous thanks to Nordstrom and Shopstyle Collective for sponsoring this post.

It’s coat weather here in Kentucky, and I love wearing cute coats with all my fall and winter outfits. I have shared with you before how I love shopping Nordstrom Made Brands.

They have a great selection of the season’s top coats to choose from whether you want quilted, down & puffer, cozy, trench, etc.

The Season’s Top Coats from Nordstrom

1. Wubby Jacket

This soft jacket will keep you cozy all season long regardless of the weather.

It comes in charcoal and ivory (I’m wearing the ivory color).

This is a short style and works great with all your fall sweaters and tops.

Wubby Jacket (TTS, I’m wearing a small) • Cold Shoulder Turtleneck (I sized down, I’m wearing an XS) • Wit & Wisdom Jeans (I sized down, I’m wearing a size 4) • Tan Booties (another option here) • Earrings

2. Oversized Quilted Jacket

There are times I like having a longer coat.

This coat has a curved shirttail hem, and it comes in two colors, tan and olive (I’m wearing the olive color).

The jacket is lined with chest patch pockets and front pockets.

Oversized Quilted Jacket (TTS, I’m wearing a small) • Cold Shoulder Turtleneck (I sized down, I’m wearing an XS) • Wit & Wisdom Jeans (I sized down, I’m wearing a size 4) • Tan Booties (another option here) • Earrings

  1. Love the quilted longer jacket. Soooo cute. I might go see the color in person of the tan one to buy. Good price too. You look cute in both of these. I don’t work well under pressure. I’ve had to write out my menu and make up my grocery list and shop some awhile ago, as my whole family has food allergies and so it takes several trips to always find what I need, especially in this time where shelves aren’t always full. I live in a rural, small town, which doesn’t have a good store for food allergies, so I have to travel over an hour to get to a whole foods etc. With multiply family members with multiple food allergies, our Thanksgiving has to be dairy free, gluten free, soy free, corn free, onion and garlic free etc. etc. It takes a lot of research to get recipes to work for everyone. Its hard, but over the years you find recipes that work and we do what we have to do. With chronic migraines, (around 20 a month), I can’t wait until last minute either. I’m not guaranteed the days, last minute, to get my things done, so I tend to do things way early to be safe except of course the things you can’t buy or make early. Today I have to try out 2 items to make sure they come out okay, as with allergy friendly things, they don’t always. 🙁 So, its extra work that way too. Thank you for the BFTH. I was having a bad morning this AM feeling sorry for myself and how things have to be……so hard to get a meal on the table with all the food allergies etc. and it was good to be reminded of scipture. I’m thankful we even have food. Many don’t and would be glad to eat what we have to eat. I’m just so thankful lately for my HOME. We live an hour plus from Portland, OR. soooooo many homeless I see often there. Breaks my heart. Enjoy getting ready for Thanksgiving. I like the napkins you have ordered.

    1. Dear Kathy, my heart goes out to you with those awful migraines and you suffer so often! I struggle with persistent headache (a headache that never goes away, and rarely migraines). I don’t know if you’re interested, but we watch Elijahstreams on YouTube regularly. On the November 5, Nathan French was the guest. Near the end of the interview, he prays for healing from migraines. Often times, when he has prayed for healing, there have been many people writing in saying they’ve been healed.

      1. Carolynn….thanks for your sweet reply. I’m so sorry you suffered with headaches. I understand anyone who goes through this type of pain. I know God is in it and He can still use me through it all, you too. Some days its just harder to deal with and for so many years. I’ll have to check out the youtube videos you are talking about. I haven’t heard of him before. I’ve had my church and bible study pray over me before. I’m not healed, but I was very blessed at the time for sure. Have a good day.

  2. Cute jackets! I was out yesterday running errands in a sweater with jeans and I was a bit cold. It’s time for the jackets to come out! Trying to decide what I need for this year. Thank you for this post. And, yes, I too work best under pressure…unfortunately.

  3. Hi Cyndi, I love the look of the wubby jacket and have nothing like it so I may have to snag that one up. Looking forward to Thanksgiving as we’ll meet our family in Vegas this year!
    Have a wonderful day!
