Winter Try-On: Amazon Sweaters & More

We will be ringing in the New Year very soon, ladies! Are you ready for 2022? It’s always nice to have a fresh start!

Today I’m sharing some sweaters I’ve been wearing on the repeat over here, plus a pretty blouse from Walmart that’s perfect for church or work.

Winter Try-On

This sweater had me with the blue color, it’s so pretty, and it gives you a little pep in your step.

Casual Turtleneck Sweater (I’m wearing a small) • Kut From the Kloth Jeans (same jean, different wash) • Vince Camuto Loafers (I sized up 1/2 size) • Earrings

I like a simple gray sweater to wear with black pants or dark jeans. My jeans are Hudson, a designer brand I recently tried from EVEREVE.

They are pricey, but I love the dark color and straight leg.

Turtleneck Sweater (I’m wearing a small) • Hudson Straight Ankle Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28) • Schutz Bette Bootie (I sized up 1/2 size) • Earrings

This oversized colorblock sweater has lots of detail.

Chunky Knit Pullover Sweater (I’m wearing a small) • Kut From the Kloth Jeans (same jean, different wash) Vince Camuto Loafers (I sized up 1/2 size) • Earrings

I wore this sweater several times during Christmas. It’s so soft, and since it’s usually cold in February for Valentine’s Day, this will get lots more wear.

I love this striped sweater in dark green, but it comes in lots more colors.

This is the prettiest blouse with ruffle detail, covered buttons on the sleeves, and pretty color.

Beauty For the Heart™~~Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4

Truth: The biblical sin of pride refers to a high or exalted attitude. We have been battling pride since the Garden of Eden. Always wanting to be recognized, to be god-like. But scriptures says in John 3:30, He must become greater; I must become less.

How do we do that? We give God the glory He deserves.

The one sole thing in myself in which I glory is that I see in myself nothing in which I can glory. Catherine of Genoa

  1. First let me say I love your style and your blog! I have been looking for a sideboard and absolutely LOVE the one in the background of these pictures. Do you have a link you can share? Thanks!

  2. Love all these sweaters ! You have been doing a Great job! I took down my Christmas decorations and everything looks so plain Hoping you will have some Amazon finds for the house . I would like some new decor for Valentine’s day. Pieces for the fireplace mantel, a wreath, gift ideas, candles, and all the cute stuff 🙂

  3. I discovered your blog this year. I don’t comment often but I enjoy your blog and especially your beauty from the heart. I wish you a Happy New Year and may God bless you and your family.

    1. You always have shoes and jeans over $100.
Do you actually pay these prices or do you get discounts for advertising them?

      1. Hi Heather,
I don’t always wear shoes and jeans over $100, but those are basic pieces that I wear a lot, and I can keep through several seasons, so I’m willing to pay more.
I spend less on trendy pieces.

      1. Good Morning Cyndi,
I look forward to reading your post everyday! You are amazing! Thanks to you I have updated my closet!I love that you show us current and classy looks that work for all ages!
I wish you and your family a happy and healthy year ahead!

  4. All beautiful sweaters and top. Just curious, you frequently say size up 1/2 in shoes. Why not just wear a larger size to begin with? I love the Hudson jeans and they are pricey. I would like to have one pair of pricey jeans but have no idea which one to try. What is your favorite?

  5. I love the tan loafer you are wearing! Do you have any suggestions for a less expensive loafer?

    Thanks!

  6. Hi, Cindy! I recently purchased the striped turtleneck on your recommendation. I have never purchased anything you’ve highlighted before, nor have I purchased clothing from Amazon. I got the sweater in ice blue (I am blonde) and it is Gorgeous! So much nicer than I imagined it would be! Thank you for doing the hard work – I will definitely be taking your lead more often!
