Amazon Home Finds with Courtney

Hi friends! I’m so excited to introduce a new series on the blog today called “Courtney’s Corner.” For those of you who aren’t familiar, Courtney is my daughter and mom to my 3 sweet grandchildren: Colt, Claire, and Caroline.

She has the best taste, and every time I am over at her house, I find myself asking her where she got this and that. She even had a blog back in the day!

I thought it would be fun to get Courtney involved a little bit more with the blog and have her share her latest budget-friendly home finds and interior inspiration on Mondays. I don’t typically cover this area, but I know that lots of you are interested in it.

We are so excited to kick this series off today! If you’re looking for anything specific or want tips on decorating certain rooms, let us know in the comments below. I’ll definitely plan a Q&A with her about how she would describe her home style!

Up first, Courtney is sharing 10 of her favorite Amazon home finds. You’ve probably seen similar items at Ballard Design, and she’s managed to find the look for less!

Beauty For the Heart™~~ Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1

Truth: Persistent prayer means keeping our requests continually before God as we live for him day by day, believing He will answer. I love that Jesus tells us to keep praying, don’t give up!

God may tell us to wait, but His delays always have good reasons. We grow in character, faith, and hope as we persist in prayer.

Deeper Study: Read Luke 18:1-13

  1. Would love some ideas on styling shelves, mine
always look busy and never flow or have any balance. Courtney’s taste is lovely and am excited for the addition to the blog!! Thank you ladies and have a Blessed Easter!!

  2. I love this new feature. I do, however think $350 is a bit much for a coffee maker. I thought these were going to be more affordable items.

  3. Welcome Courtney! This is a great idea and nice to see you share on your moms blog. I too would like to see how you’ve incorporated some of these items in your home decor. Looking forward to what you both have planned!

  4. Excited about this new series! But what i really want to know is where that beautiful pink sweater is from! Link please!

  5. Excellent idea, to have Courtney share her fabulous decor! Loved it all and can’t wait to see what she brings to share next week! Love your boots, too!

  6. I have followed Cyndi for years and remember Courtney and her blog. I have a daughter about your age Courtney. She and her husband have a new home with some areas that need a little inspiration. She is working on a new room for her 3 year old as it is time to get into a bigger boy look. Would love to see how you use these decor items in your home. I am such a visual person! Looking forward to Mondays! ☺️

  7. Love this addition to the blog and Courtney’s taste. Would love to know where she got the chest she is standing by if possible?

  8. PS Yes, share her boot link. I do remember you bought them for her for Christmas, but at the time I wasn’t looking for light color. Now that Spring is here I think they’d be perfect for our wet weather.

  9. This is going to be fun. Great idea. Welcome Courtney. Love her decor beside her. She is so cute and you both look so much alike. I too would like to see how she put the decor you posted in her home.

  10. I’m new to your blog Cyndi and love it!
I stumbled across it last week needing some ‘look updates’ and I love your sophisticated yet comfortable styles! Excited to see your daughter’s decor ideas too! We recently had a 3 season room built (yay!) and I’m looking for inspiration on how to decorate without wicker. It’s 16×20 so we have room for a both a dining and a lounging space. A lot of the patio/deck decor involves thin cushions & wicker – lol – but I’d like something a bit more comfortable at 40+ 😉

  11. So glad you and your daughter are doing this. I love home decor. I trust your opinion on styles and know I will find many things with this. Your daughter looks so much like your sister. All of you girls are beautiful!

  12. I love this post! Can you tell me where she bought the beautiful large blue and white lamp beside her in the picture?

    Thanks!

    1. Would love to have so ideas for a farmhouse kitchen look how to decorate with that look. Thanks love your ideas.

  13. Love this post! Your daughter has wonderful style! I have been waiting 9 months for my new furniture to arrive for my family room. Leather chesterfield sofa and loveseat. Please create a post to help me style my family room. I am hoping my new furniture will be in my home in the next 3-4 weeks. Thanks! ❤️

  14. I am going to really enjoy these posts. Shopping at Amazon is so easy (I don’t have the time, or inclination, to shop in stores). We just moved into our new house, and I am in search of an indoor (for the porch door) mat which will catch the dirt and wet from the dog, but also look nice for the family room.

  15. Great post today; I’m looking forward to Courtney becoming a part of your blog – you certainly have a strong physical resemblance! Wish we could have also seen how she’s incorporated these 10 items in her home

  16. Welcome Courtney!!!! I’m so excited that you are bringing home ideas to the blog!!! I have been a follower of your mom for YEARS!! Just another reason to enjoy a fresh week and monday morning!!! Blessings!!!

  17. Courtney Welcome back !! I love these beautiful things you pick. I love color so seeing this collection made me smile.

  18. Such great items. Instead of just providing links, it would be nice to see how she has used/styled these items in her home too. Love that your getting to work with your daughter ~ Looking forward to future posts.

    1. I agree! It’s a great idea to have Courtney join you 😀 would love to see them in her home too! Have a great day ladies 🥰

      1. Welcome Courtney! Love it all! You have the same style as I have in my home.😊 Looking forward to more home decor post. You and your sweet mama are just the cutest!

    2. Love this new addition to your blog! Welcome Courtney!!!

Would also like to see how these were styled in Courtney’s house.

  19. I’m so excited that you are adding decorating tips! Would you mind to cover the transitional decorating style as well, please?

  20. I Love this new feature…..I’m more of a repurposing chick – not necessarily always buying used BUT instead finding new and different ways to use items (i.e. i found a totally cute mini cake stand in whitewashed wood and I decided to place a super cute faux potted plant on it as decor)

  21. I am so excited about this! Love her style for decorating. I am in the middle of redecorating a sunroom and any input would be great! Also, when I first opened my email I thought it was Cyndi in the picture. You two look so much alike!

  22. This is a nice addition to your blog. It would also be helpful to see how Courtney styled all of the items you show links for.
