I love to have some comfortable, feminine dresses packed for a beach vacation. We just returned from the Rosemary Beach area, and I packed this pretty floral dress from Nordstrom.

One of my favorite things about Nordstrom is that they offer free shipping and returns because we don’t have a store near us. I always like to check out their Vacation Section to see what they have for me, but I also check out the men’s section for my husband.

The dress has spaghetti straps if you want straps, but I wore it strapless.

I always grab my Tory Burch sandals when we go on vacation. They are a classic sandal and great to wear with dresses or shorts.

A straw tote is a great option to carry with all my dresses. This one has bamboo-inspired handles with pearl details.

Truth: On Tuesday night, we came home from our vacation. I walked into my home and immediately couldn’t wait to sleep in my bed to wake up the next morning, make coffee in my coffee pot and drink the coffee in one of my favorite mugs. It always feels good to be home; it feels safe and comfortable.

Wednesday morning, during my quiet time, I read John 14:2-3 and was reminded that this really isn’t my home. Jesus is preparing a home for me in heaven. As good as my home here on earth feels, it will not compare to the home waiting for me in heaven.
