Anti-Aging Evening Skincare Routine (2022)

I shared my morning skincare routine, so today, I want to share my evening skincare routine.

Anti-Aging Evening Skincare Routine (2021)

Anti-Aging Evening Skincare Routine

(These are in the order that I use them. I use all of these serums and moisturizer on my face, neck, decollete, and the backs of my hands.)

I double cleanse my face at night with the cleansing balm and the cleansing gel.

Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm • I love the feel of this balm. It removes all my makeup, including my mascara.

Neutrogena Cleansing Gel • I also wash my face with this cleansing gel. It contains hyaluronic acid, helps increase skin’s hydration, and locks it in, leaving your skin feeling clean.

Tretinoin Cream (Retin-A) • This is prescribed, and I use it after washing my face. Retinoid is the over-the-counter option. Typically it’s easier to use if you have sensitive skin.

Both tretinoin and retinol stimulate “turnover” in the skin, exfoliating the top dead layers of skin to reveal healthier and smoother skin beneath. Both substances can also stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, giving it a more toned and youthful appearance.

Here are some retinoid options:

Timeless Skin Care Matrixyl Synthe’6 Serum • This targets pronounced wrinkles and expression lines by stimulating collagen production. Hyaluronic Acid helps tired, damaged skin and treats pronounced wrinkles and sun-damaged skin.

Hydrator B5 Gel • Infused with Hyaluronic acid to give you instantly dewy and moist skin.

Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream Face Moisturizer • This is fragrance-free, helps moisturize your skin while you sleep, and absorbs quickly.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart™~~ I love beauty products and finding products that work on my skin. While these products may help my skin (outer beauty), these products do nothing for my heart (inner beauty).

Inner beauty shines from the inside and out; in my opinion, it’s what truly makes us beautiful. Inner beauty is found in knowing Jesus, and the more I strive to be like Him, the more my inner beauty will shine.

Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes. 1 Peter 3:3-4 (TPT)

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. How do you know if one product is working if you use so many? I love the tinted sunscreen you shared you use in the morning. It was recommended by Jo-Lynne this last Summer and it’s great huh? None greasy.

  2. Thank you Cyndi for these posts on sharing your skincare routines. Some of the products I already use and others that you mention I’ll be trying out. I want to wish you and your family a wonderful, safe holiday! Thanks for all that you do to help us look our best! Also, for all the inspiring posts from the heart! 🎄
