Beauty for the Heart™But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Acts 12:5

Truth: In this passage in the book of Acts, believers gathered and prayed for Peter. He was going to be killed, but when they prayed, something miraculous happened. Peter’s chains fell off, and the locked doors opened.

God doesn’t need our prayers, but he uses them. There is always more going on than we can see or know, and our prayers make a difference!

We can pray about anything and everything, big and small. When we pray, the door is opened for God to step in and do miraculous things.

  1. I wish I had seen this before ordering my stadium bag!! I love the shape of your find. And #7 is such a great classic bag..

  2. Glad you’re having fun. We took a carriage ride on the old carriage roads in Acadia and it was lovely.

  3. I actually enjoy touristy places. I like to be around people. I think Bar Harbor is the place Jo-Lynne blogger always talks about. They go yearly to their family cabin.

  4. Yes definitely go to Bar Harbor it’s so quaint! Hope the sun shines for you soon .. we usually have the same weather but our rain hasn’t come yet that we were expecting.. still sunny and hot! Enjoy your trip!

  5. Glad you are enjoying Maine; our happy place. If you have time I suggest you drive down to Camden and get in some shopping. Cute shops! If you continue South, you should stop at Moody’s Diner for blueberry pie, the best. Further South is Red Eats in Wiscasset (best Lobster Rolls). We live 5 miles from there and the lines are crazy but worth it. Enjoy your time.

  6. While BH is definitely touristy, you should at least go once. A cruise ship is in so more tourist are in town (we went yesterday). We stay for 2 weeks on quiet side of island but at least go in town once. You could walk Shore Path for an easy walk even in this weather and enjoy coastal BH. Grab an app and cocktail or other beverage at Stewmans on West St ..skip long wait and just head to the bar (few tables avail and bar seats) on back deck overlooking harbor. Explore some of quieter side rides off Main .
