Friday Fashion Fall Try-On

Cheers to the weekend; even better, it’s a long weekend! Grab a cup of coffee because I’ve got a fall try-on haul from Amazon, Avara, and Evereve.

Amazon Fall Try-On

This pretty blouse comes in several colors, and it also comes in short sleeves too. I’m wearing a pair of Levi straight-leg jeans. They’re under $30, with no raw hem and no distressing.

This pretty blouse comes in several colors; I like the sleeve length.

This is a nice tank that’s not tight and perfect under cardigans and blazers. It also comes in several colors and is regular bra-friendly.

Are you ready for some pumpkins? I tried these Levi jeans too, but I’m not as crazy about them. They’re a little stiff feeling, so I’m going to return these jeans.

This is a pretty floral sweater; it also comes in several colors. My booties are from Evereve and are on sale but still a little pricey. I’m looking for a similar option to share that’s less expensive.

Avara Fall Try-On

This is such a cute sweater and super comfortable. My jeans are on sale, and the black booties are from Evereve and also on sale. The booties are pricey, but they have a lower heel, and they are leather.

This might be my favorite top of all. I love the sleeves and the color.

All these pieces are on sale for Labor Day. The tops run slightly big, so I sized down to an XS. The flare jeans are Kut from the Kloth and under $100.

Short cardigans are trending for fall, and you can wear this one alone or add a shirt under it.

  2. Very cute outfits. I like the black tank with the jeans and mules. The boots are cute but they are over 2 inches high. I need 1 to 2 inches for everyday wear. When I worked I could handle higher heels cause I would change shoes if I had to walk any distance. I was the bag lady with the extra shoes. Lol.

  3. You look so great in all these outfits. Its making me ready for Fall in all ways. 🙂 The Wit and Wisdom jeans look different on you than the model. The model has like a step, tulip like hem and I never see this in your pictures. I like Wit and Wisdom and want more of the straight leg, so will try these. I just am not ready to embrace the flare leg jeans right now. I think they look best with pointed toe heels and that isn’t going to be my go to from day to day out and about in the Fall/Winter. So, as I get older, trying to stay true to myself and what works for my day to day. I love some of the tops you styled. Such pretty colors and details. I’d loved to know which items you choose to keep and which you just style for the blog. Do you keep the amazon finds? I’ve never ordered clothing from there I’ve kept. I guess I haven’t had much luck with the fabrics. I’ll keep trying. 🙂 Have fun at Colten’s b’day party and enjoying family. This weekend is always hard for our family, as 24 yrs. ago on Friday of Labor Day weekend, my dad fell off a ladder and died. My brother was there to see it and my husband was the first paramedic on the scene trying to work on my dad to save him, but he was already gone. My dad was a wonder, Christian man and we miss him dearly. He was 2 yrs. from retirement and my mom was only 59 yrs. old. My mom is now in a memory care assisted living and doesn’t even remember this accident anymore, which is a blessing sometimes, as she’s struggled without him and this memory for years.. God is good and he’s taken care of her all these years. She never remarried.

  6. Those tops were adorable. Hint: the key to good Levi’s is Denizen or signature and they must have some stretch in them – I prefer the 67/32/1 blend or the 73/19/7/1 blend – perfect stretch for multiple wears that never stretch out I really like the denizen modern slim cuff (not cuffed usually cause of my height) or the signature mid rise slim cuff (again usually not cuffed)

    1. Sharon……Such good information on the Levi’s. I’ve always wanted to try Levi’s but the ones I’ve tried just don’t feel right or the style. I will go see if I can find these you’ve recommended that don’t stretch out etc. I thought Levi’s were Levi’s. I didn’t realize the other names to them like Denizen or Signature. I see girls/woman wearing Levi’s and I’ve liked the look. I’m still trying to find the right up-to-date jean for me. It really makes the shoes choices harder for Winter, with the new styles.
