Tremendous thanks to Walmart and Shopstyle Collective for sponsoring this post.
Happy first day of fall! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for sweater weather, and Walmart has new fall arrivals that include some pretty sweaters for cooler weather.
New Fall Arrivals from Walmart
This turtleneck sweater from Scoop comes in three colors; I’m wearing the adobe color. You can wear it alone or layered with a blouse and jeans or pair it with a midi skirt. This sweater has lots of options.
I paired this sweater with straight-leg jeans in washed black. These jeans are a great option for fall, and look great with black boots.
My boots have a western-inspired silhouette and come in black, burgundy, and silver. I am loving the western-style boots for fall!
Sleeveless Turtleneck Sweater (I’m wearing a small) • Black Straight Leg Jeans (I’m wearing a size 4) • Black Western Style Boot (TTS)
This fuchsia sweater has a relaxed fit and is a wonderful addition to my fall wardrobe. I love having some bright colors on the dreary fall and winter days.
I styled this sweater with coated jeans with a flared silhouette which are right on trend this year.
V-Neck Sweater (I’m wearing a small) • Black Coated Jeans (I’m wearing a size 4) • Black Western Style Boots (TTS)
Walmart has so many cute fall arrivals. Make sure you shop all fall items HERE.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Beauty For The Heart™— Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
Truth: I have lots of favorite verses, but this is definitely in my top ten favorites. I think most of us have all done things that we regret or are even ashamed of, but Paul is telling us not to let our past be our focus. Learn from our past but then focus on what lies ahead.
Keep pressing on! Our hope is in Christ. We can let go of past guilt and look forward to what God has for us.
Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

It sounds like your mom was very special. We lost our mom almost three years ago and feel that she was the absolute best. She was a pastor’s wife for over sixty years, the church pianist, and never said a negative thing about anything until Alzheimer’s. I am thankful she’s in heaven, but miss her daily!
Thank you for sharing the letter about your Mom. I do believe we need to share more about the Godly people in our life. The Lord had people celebrating and remembering. We should as well.
Cyndi,
My mom’s name is also WANDA! She is 84 and she has lived a life of faithfulness to God, and showing what it is to follow Christ. Obviously your mom did the same and was a godly example to the many lives she touched. Thank you for sharing about her! Quote an example to follow ❤️
My sister went to heaven 11 years ago today. I miss her so. We were very close as we had lost our mother many years ago when I was 25 and she was 26. I know I’ll see them again. Psalms 116:15….”Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Forever thankful for the love and happiness we shared. Thank you for always sharing remembrances of your Mom in your blogs.
What a beautiful letter about your mom! Thank you for sharing it. Great items from Wal-Mart.
Thank you for sharing the letter. Made me tear up. What a beautiful person your mom was. It was 24 yr anniversary Sept 4 when I lost my dad. Fell off a ladder. :(. Miss him.
Kathy I’m so sorry for your loss.
What a sweet and powerful tribute to your mom! Thank you so much, Cyndi, for sharing this with us.
Thank you Melanie
Oh my, what a beautiful letter. It says a lot about the type of person your mother was. It also says a lot about the woman who wrote it. What a beautiful gift she gave to your family in something as simple as a letter! May God hold you close Cyndi on the days when you miss her.
Thank you Peg
Very beautiful letter to your Mom. She sounds like an amazing woman of faith. My mom’s birthday would have been tomorrow. It’s also my brother’s birthday. She always said that was her favorite birthday present in 1957. I lost her at the age of 26. It’s been 42 years now. I like to tell my kids and grandkids her words or sayings so they can know her through me. She only knew my son and he doesn’t remember her.
I like the clothes on you especially the first sweater. I bought a cute Time and Try long sleeve crop top. On my petite frame it hits at the right spot on my waist to wear with high waisted jeans or pants.
She was way too young but you are her legacy.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful remembrance letter of your mom. To have something new about your mom must be so special. My son died 6 days before Christmas almost 5 years ago and I really miss him and new pictures, hugs, everything. Time goes by so fast…. It is so important to hug the ones we love all the time and tell them how much they mean to us. You never know when they will be gone.
Yes Robin and I am so very sorry for your loss.
What a lovely tribute to your momma, brought a tear to my eye. Hope you have a beautiful peaceful day!❤️❤️
Thank you Gina.
The letter about your Mom made me cry. It reminded me so much of my sweet Mom who went to heaven 14 years ago whom i miss so much. Thinking of you and saying a prayer for you today. I’m sure you feel as blessed and grateful as i do for the gift of a wonder mom.

Yes Kvery thankful, but we will always miss them

Your Mom was one of the most genuine people I ever had the pleasure to meet. One could not be near her without sensing her love for the Lord. I pictured her beautiful face as I read this, It took me back to our Holy Land trip where I met her. Thanks for sharing.
Vicki thank you! Love you
Thank you for sharing that beautiful letter about your Mom. I lost my Mom last Friday the 16th. She was 71 years old. This has been the hardest week of my life but I know I am in good hands and the pain is a testament of my love for her. I will gladly bear it.

Good Morning Cyndi~ I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed reading the letter about your mom. I just lost my dad two weeks from Tuesday and it seems like a lifetime. But it was pure joy listening to all the kind words people had to say about my dad since his passing. I hold onto the promise I will see him again and then it’s for eternity. I started out watching you and style on pinterest years ago and now I enjoy your blog. I especially enjoy Beauty for the heart. Happy first day of Fall!
