3 Verses to Encourage You This Week

Happy Sunday, ladies! The weekends always go by so quickly, and it’s already time to get ready for the week ahead. As we begin a new week, I wanted to share three verses to encourage you and hopefully prepare you for your week ahead.

1. You are Loved.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19

Scripture reminds us over and over again of the love God has for us. God not only loves us, but we are the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8).

2. He Cares for You.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7

I don’t know what you’re going through right now, but God does, and he cares about you. Maybe you don’t feel like anyone cares, but I promise God is with you, and He wants to comfort you.

A.W. Tozer says, “We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts.”

3. We are held in  His Righteous Right Hand.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

This might be my favorite bible verse. Anytime I’m going through something, this verse is always close to my heart, and I repeat it often.

As you go through your week, know YOU ARE HELD by a mighty God. He will strengthen you, and there’s no reason to fear.

He is the God of all our days……

  1. Thank you for these verses, Cyndi! I needed them – my husband had a heart attack on Oct. 7 – it was scary, but the Lord answered our prayers and he is home already. He has a long recovery, but we felt the peace from the Lord. I am also caring for aging parents and I am an only child, so I feel like I am running in all different directions. Again, thank you for these very encouraging verses – God is always right on time!

  5. Thank you for sharing these three verses! I was just preparing this week’s prayer sheet for a Mom’s In Prayer group. This week’s focus: “God is our Strength.” After reading your post, I included Isaiah 41:10. It will be a great addition to the other verses we will use to pray for our children and their school this week. Praise God for providing us hope and strength!

  9. Isaiah 41:10 is the verse God spoke to me the night before my first chemo treatment. It’s been my life verse ever since, and there are no words to tell you how much it means to me. I’m so glad you included it because I know it will encourage others.
