When I start releasing gift guides, readers frequently want to know what I am putting on my Christmas wishlist. I’m not asking for all these gifts, but these are some of my favorite things, and if Santa wants to surprise me with one of them, I won’t be sad about it.

PS Thank you for the “JOY” devotion in the BFTH. In church Sunday a friend was struggling with missing her husband who passed less than 2 yrs. ago. She was crying with me, saying the JOY had gone out of her and she doesn’t think it will come back. She is a believer, but misses him so. I know there is a difference in happiness vs. joy. God is our true JOY source. She can get it back. With those around me who have lost loved ones close to them, I have found at year 3, they begin to be able to move forward some and the healing process starts. Its different for everyone I understand, but just what I’ve noticed. Even for myself, loosing my dad. You never forget or are not changed for life, but you begin to move forward, with your “new normal.” Blessings.
Love this list. I too LOVE Vuori. I only have 3 items, but plan to add more to my closet. So far I have 1 gift for me early. My husband was with me when I purchased the Willow Tree Nativity set. I already decorated for Christmas and its perfect. I love how neutral it its. I have 3 angels of Willow Tree I’ve had for years, since my kids were little and were baptized. My mom got each of them one when they were baptized. I cherish them, but assuming 1 day they will want them back. 🙂 Since I don’t have Thanksgiving this year, I’m ahead of the game and am ready for Christmas. Just wrapped my presents and put them under the tree last night. 🙂 I’ve never been this early. Just 1 more gift to buy. Now I plan to enjoy the season. Thanks for your gift guides. I love your blog and all you do. I am needing to overhaul my Christmas tree decorations. I like the colors Red,Silver, black,and green. I also like buffalo plaid. I’m looking for something economical price wise. Idk if you would do a post on that but it would be great if you could. I would like a new Christmas outfit and n those colors too.
