I’m wearing their Spruce Fair Isle Sweater Dress in black. It’s a soft cotton blend that’s machine washable! The length makes it appropriate for work or church, while the overall dress could work for Thanksgiving or holiday parties.
The Fair Isle design makes this piece winter-ready and really pops against the dark color of the dress. Plus, the design, along with the mockneck, draws the eye upwards.

In the Hebrew language, the phrase for “gentle whisper” is Kol D’mama Daka, meaning “the sound of thin silence.” That’s where the Lord meets us: in the thin silence.
Today, let’s quiet our hearts so we can hear His gentle whisper.

I find I go in streaks with Talbot’s. Sometimes they have looks I like and other times, not so much. I usually know right away when I look at the current catalog. I like their classic sweaters and vests and sometimes their jewelry. Talbot’s pants do not fit me, no matter how hard I try. I’ve also purchased many of Talbot’s shoes and am very pleased with everything I’ve bought.

Yes, I like Talbot’s but I admit I have to look through the items a great deal as some are chic but others look a bit dated. My big question is what are you wearing for Thanksgiving???? Will you change at all during the day or ??? I really like Talbots and look for their sales in order to shop there however. I bought a dress many years ago, and it has worn well and I feel great everytime I wear. Talbots is unique in their fashion so you don’t see yourself coming and going. haha
I like Talbots! Especially like that they have an extensive petite’s section. And like the fall/winter collections particularly. I do look for sales, as prices can be high.
Yes I shop at Talbots but always wait for sales. I still have a sweater dress I bought from them probably 5 years ago that I still love. This fair isle one is pretty though.

I have shopped at Talbots a couple of times in my life, but wouldn’t say it’s a favorite of mine. For me Ann Taylor seems to look better on me and I like most of there styles.

You look gorgeous as always! I started shopping at Talbots a few years ago and love their T by Talbot leggings/tops ( athletic wear) Their clothing is great quality and they have petites which is plus for shorty me. They run sales a lot so I always wait for those.😊

Great BFTH devotional. I’m doing the Elijah study by Pricilla Shirer now in my Bible study. I had done it alone during Covid and now the ladies wanted to do it so I’m doing it again. It’s so good. I don’t usually do studies over. Highly recommend it.

I have to be careful shopping at Talbots. Yes, they have an excellent petite section–one of the best–but their clothes can make me look and feel FRUMPY. I’m 61 and have shopped there since graduating from college, 40 years.
I don’t shop there much because I think the clothes look to be on the mature side. Im in my sixties but don’t want to dress like a old lady. However, I haven’t been in Talbots for some time so I might try it again.
I really like Talbots outlet stores. For some reason those clothes seem much more youthful than the regular store.
I’ve been a Talbots customer for 25+ years. They have a wide range of styles to choose from, especially in my petite size. Before I retired I purchased many of my work outfits there. Since retiring, I find comfy, yet still classic, casual outfits for lunches my friends and for many vacation trips. I was so happy when they brought out their T by Talbots casual athletic line. It’s nice to have a personal shopper call me when there are sales coming up. Their customer service is outstanding.
I have a 3 Talbots cashmere sweater from a few years ago. LOVE those. Great quality! I also own one of their fitted rain type jackets from a few years ago which I love it too. All in petite sizing which is not always easy to find!
But have to admit I am not a fan of their jeans.
Yes, love Talbots. I buy most of my clothes there because they offer nearly everything in petite sizes. The quality is very good and the clothing lasts for years. Frequent excellent sales means the pricing is very good as well. I like your blog for ideas, but I go to Talbots to actually shop, again because of petite sizing.

I love Talbots for the classics pieces that are timeless. I don’t shop there often, however, the few classic pieces I own are of excellent quality and fit my petite frame perfectly! I shop at Talbots but not much. Their styling is alittle too conservative and expensive if not on sale. I do have one pink sweater and got some summer tops half off at summer closeout. I love the sweater dress you have on and will seriously think on it as sooo cute. I got the red Draper James sweater dress this year so far and donating my old sweater dresses that are old but still nice. I do like they have a “P” sizing which is same as xsp which is what I need. Personally I find Talbots clothing a little “grumpy.” It’s not for me

I love Talbots! Last year I need to replenish my work wardrobe after the pandemic, so I made an appointment with a Talbots stylist there in Lexington. When I got there, I went to a reserved dressing room with several outfits ready for me to try. I had the best time and they treated me like a queen. I highly recommend!!
Yes I have shopped Talbots for years. And I have pieces I have had for several years and can still wear. If you’re not careful you can come out looking a little frumpy, too matchy matchy. But their basic pieces are classic and well made. Blazers, neutral sweaters, jeans are all good basics to pick up at Talbots. Plus they usually have a sale

Talbot’s is classic, Cyndi you style that line very well. On another subject: the beautiful plaid pants (Kohl’s) you styled are sadly being returned. They are totally different from the look you styled and I am disappointed. Anyone else have disappointing experience? They looked much more fitted when you styled them. Still looking because such a great holiday style!

Yes I shop Talbot’s all the time. I like the classic style and quality. I know that their sizes are consistent. Colors from year to year match so I know if I invest in a blazer or other item it will mix and match with something from a previous year. On a retirement budget I know my clothing allowance is well spent.
I am another petite who loves Talbots for their quality, selection, and classic style. They also carry Plus and Petite Plus sizes. I do wait for sales, and extra perks come from having a credit card. You look cute in the sweater dress and boots.
