3 Makeup Products I’m Using Now and in 2023

Happy Friday! This week between Christmas and New Year’s Day is always a little crazy, but we’ve made it to Friday. Today I’m sharing 3 Makeup Products I used a lot in 2022, and I plan on using them in the New Year.

I love trying new products and sharing them with you, but these 3 have been my favorites of 2022.

3 Makeup Products I’m Using Now and in 2023

1. La Mer The Perfecting Primer

A primer that hydrates, plumps, and blurs imperfections for a smooth, soft-focus effect. Creates a smooth canvas for applying foundation. I love using this before applying my foundation.

It’s on the pricey side, but it lasts for months. I purchased mine in August and still have enough product for several months.

2. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

This is a medium-coverage foundation that works great on mature skin. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles and creates an airbrushed, silky skin appearance.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Setting Powder

This is another product that’s great for mature skin. It blurs imperfections and visibly reduces shine.

What makeup do you use regularly?

Here are more products I use and love:

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart™I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. Philippians 3:12-14 (Msg)

Truth: It’s a good time of year for letting go. Let’s not drag all our regrets and failures into 2023. Let’s repent, make amends where we can, and move on. Don’t spend too much time dwelling on the past; look ahead and keep your eyes on Jesus.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. Love that pink on you! That is my favorite color. All your products look fantastic on you. I use Estee lauder primer for the Futurist makeup. I have been using them for awhile now. It’s some primer exactly for that brand of makeup. Also I love the Revision Tinted Moisturizer for walking, going to the gym (just joined the Healthplex) and doing most anything. I got mine 20% off when my dermatologist had a 20% off sale. It is pricey but it self adjust to your skintone and has all the necessary ingredients in it to have a one step tinted moisturized. Very good for your skin. My son gave me the most beautiful compacts filled with Lancome products for Christmas and one lipstick really is my favorite, it called Merci Simone290. Just a gorgeous pink shade subdued with neutral color for a great daytime look. Just add alittle lip gloss in the center since matte. Those are my favorites!! Happy New Year!!!!

  2. Love your pink sweater on you. Such a pretty pink. I see it’s a longer style. Do you wear your skinny jeans with the longer sweaters like before or the new wider leg styles?

  3. These look great on you and I like the shades in which you use – what is the shade for the foundation and pressed powder? Thank you!

  4. I use mostly Tarte products. The primer I use is from a company called DHC. Thanks for sharing your favorite products. May you have blessed New Year.

  5. THIS shade of pink on you. WOW! One of the best in your personal color palette, for sure. The makeup look is subtle and natural. Your beauty shines brightly. Thank you for your blog. I love reading it every day and shop with you occasionally. Happy New Year!

  6. I use Merle Norman makeup and skin care mostly. My mom has used it since she was 19, my Aunt Grace started her on it and she will be 94 in February! Everyone seems amazed when they find out her age and say she doesn’t look it. She started me on the Miracol mask when I was 12 and started getting breakouts.
I use the Lasting Foundation and it’s really a good foundation. I like all their products snd it seems like a little goes a long way with everything.
They have products for all skin types and issues.

  7. I went CLEAN with my make up years ago so I order different items from multiple companies. My favorite new find was my skin care system. I found DIMEbeauty and love it. It’s good price compared to other systems. I ordered “The Works Bundle” and added the eye cream to it. I’m already going on 4 months on the bottles. It last forever as you only use alittle of each product…….Unless you spill it. Opps. Had to order one bottle extra. They send discount emails all the time and you can sign up for their reward program. Your sister, Traci told about it and I’m now a fan. I haven’t paid full price for anything yet. Already ordered my next set when they did a 25% off around the holidays.

    1. Thanks so much for sharing, Kathy! I have switched to all clean products and am constantly trying things to find one at a price point t that I can commit to! I’m always appreciative when someone specifies their clean beauty product experiences and favs! Please, share more of what you order!

  8. Thanks for sharing this and I want to invest in my skin in 2023 by getting regular facials and using better products. I like that some of these come in mini sizes so I can try them before buying an expensive product.
Happy New Year and I love the BFTH truth today. Letting Go is hard but its more work holding a grudge.
