A trend that I’m personally thrilled to see returning for the upcoming season is raffia and straw accessories. I love the warmth, texture, and interest they introduce to an outfit. Plus, they are neutral, allowing them to pair well with almost anything.
I have woven accessories of all kinds in my closet, including earrings, handbags, belts, shoes, and hats. Today I am showing you some of my favorite straw and raffia accessories and pictures of how I have styled them!

Earrings
The easiest and most affordable way to incorporate straw and raffia into your outfit is by adding a pair of earrings. If I’m going to be carrying a rattan handbag or adding a pair of tan shoes, then the addition of the earrings are a great way to tie the entire outfit together.
You’ve seen me style these rattan ball hoop earrings, and they are a favorite, as well as the ones in this four pack! I am eyeing these wicker and shell dangle earrings and these raffia teardrop earrings. This colorful pair is so cute and comes in so many colors!

Handbags
I love adding a fun handbag to add a little interest, and woven bags are perfect for the job! Whether you need a tote bag for the office or the beach, a mid-sized bag for everyday use, or a clutch to take with you out to dinner, there are so many straw and rattan bags out there that it can be hard to choose.
This pearl and rattan bucket bag is so cute, and it would be perfect to carry to a shower or a brunch date! The brown bow version of this bag (the second option) reminds me of a bag I saw selling at Madewell for $165. The size of this bag is wonderful for a day to day bag, but it would also be great for holding a small laptop or tablet and files to head to the office or your favorite coffee shop!

Belts
When I ordered this four pack of belts last year, I had no idea they would make their way into so many outfits! They’re under $20, making them so affordable at only $5 per belt. They look cute paired with a sundress and just as darling with my denim shorts and pants.

Shoes
There are a lot of new styles of woven shoes that I have my eye on for this season! If I need to dress up an outfit, espadrilles wedges are a go-to. I am loving these adorable rattan slides and these raffia h-band sandals for spring and summer to go with shorts, jeans, or sundresses. These slip-on raffia sneakers will be perfect for running errands.

Hats and Headbands
Do you like to wear hats? I always wear hats on vacation, but they’re wonderful for camouflaging dirty hair or roots that need to be touched up, keeping the sun out of your eyes, and protecting your skin from harmful UV rays. I love a fedora for a day at the pool or in the sun, and this straw one is my favorite. Visors are great for playing tennis, golf, or gardening when you need to keep the sun out of your eyes while still being able to put your hair into a ponytail. I love this rattan roll-up visor because I can roll it up to put it in my purse or suitcase!
Statement headbands are back! This isn’t a trend I’ve hopped back into yet, but I may have to because look at how cute these knotted straw headbands are! I also really like this one!

I love raffia and straw for spring and summer. My bag from last year is still good. I have a belt similar to yours. Thanks for the ideas on how to style it. I never thought to wear it with jeans.
I’m so ready for Spring. Already adding my Spring clothes into my closet and removing the darker colors like burgandy. We had a nice sunny weekend and we went to the ocean to walk, but they say snow tonight into Tuesday for us here in NW Oregon. We rarely get snow.
Great post, Cyndi! I’m so ready for Spring ☀️💐🌸🌷
