It’s finally Friday! Yay! I love a weekend spent outside when the weather is warm. To get ready for all my summer activities, I’ve added three pairs of shorts to my summer wardrobe, all from Nordstrom.
Summer Style: Shorts from Nordstrom
1. White Shorts
We all need a great pair of white shorts, and these are Spanx brand white shorts. They are a longer length, and they have a tummy panel for a fabulous fit.

2. Boyfriend Shorts
These Caslon boyfriend denim shorts have been a favorite of mine for several years. I love the relaxed fit and the rolled hem.
Wear these shorts with sandals or sneakers. They are close to a 5 inch inseam and you can’t unroll the cuff.
These denim shorts run a little big, so size down to get the perfect fit.

3. Utility Shorts
Utility pockets give these Wit & Wisdom denim shorts an updated look.

I’m so excited for summer and all the fun outdoor activities! I love spending time outside and take full advantage of it during the summer months.

I love all 3 shorts. I have the Caslon denim ones and also love them. So comfortable. I actually had to size down two sizes as they do stretch. The utility Wit n Wisdom is already sold out. 🙁 Was going to order those and the white ones. Hope they restock. Please update if you see they do. It’s not even looking close to Summer here. We are having a colder than usual Spring in the NW. So hard to even dress in Spring outfits. Ready for sunshine. Have fun watching Jonathan. So great.

Love todays post…the shorts are so cute, and look great on you. Have a quick question.,..what’s your opinion about women “ of a certain age” wearing shorts?
I’m 70, have decent legs, but I worry about looking inappropriate if I wear shorts in public ( thinking grocery shopping or running errands).
I have no issue wearing them at the beach.
Just need another woman’s opinion/advice.

I really think it’s personal preference but I see older women wearing shorts and I think it’s fine, I’m sure I will wear them if I live that long.
Most are wearing cute shorts and a top, nothing sexy.
If you feel good wearing them, then I would say wear them.

Thank you for this devotional today. My dad has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has been devastating watching him be so sick. This is the hardest thing I have had to do and watch. Thank you again for your daily devotions. I needed this today more than anything.

I love all the shorts! Especially the boyfriend shorts although they do not have my size. I will save it as a favorite to check back. Thank you for the devotional today too, nice reminder about Job. After all, it is about putting our eyes on God and taking them off of today’s struggles.
