4 Stylish Spring Dresses for Mother’s Day

This first dress is an Eliza J wrap maxi dress with a faux wrap silhouette, flutter sleeves, and a tulip hemline. If you have a dressy event coming, this dress is beautiful!

Larger bags are trending this year, and this Jason Wu Snakeskin Embossed Faux Leather Top Handle Bag has gold-tone hardware and a top zip closure. It’s perfect for carrying your phone, wallet, some makeup, and your favorite lip color.

I love the sleeve detail on this floral wrap dress.

Next, this feminine mockneck dress by ESTELINA has short smocked sleeves and smocking around the waistline, and it’s also lined.

I paired this dress with the Steve Madden strappy heels too. This style of heel is trending this year.

If you love a sheath dress, this Eliza J geometric print dress is so colorful. Sheath dresses are more form-fitting, and I like that this one has elbow sleeves.

I’m carrying a quilted crossbody bag.

I love the geometric pattern!

Lastly, this Eliza J Fit & Flare Dress is lined and has a roundneck line and short sleeves. I love the bold floral print!

Again, I paired this dress with the transparent strap sandals and the quilted handbag.

These dresses from Saks OFF 5TH can easily be worn all spring and summer, so now is a great time to splurge on yourself and get a new dress you love!

I’m so glad you stopped by!! You can find me on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart™-Prepare your heart by stilling what has been distracting you. Jesus won’t try to shout over the noise in our lives. -Bob Goff

“The LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by. ‘Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper” (1 Kings 19:11-12, NIV).

The Lord told Elijah to stand on the mountain in His presence, but He didn’t come in the ways Elijah (or we) would have expected: in a wind, earthquake, or even a fire. He came in a gentle whisper.

In the Hebrew language, the phrase for “gentle whisper” is Kol D’mama Daka, meaning “the sound of thin silence.” That’s where the Lord meets us: in the thin silence.

Today, let’s quiet our hearts so we can hear His gentle whisper.

  1. Cyndi, I love the colors and patterns if these dresses but would you style a v neck dress some day? The high necklines are not as flattering as lower or v neck for my age. Theyare hard to find I know! Thank you for all your hard work posting for us!

  2. When I was growing up, I wore dresses all the time. It’s the ONLY thing I could wear to church! My mother made most of my clothes; she was an excellent seamstress. As I grew taller, I ended up being somewhat long-waisted. I can rarely get a dress to fit me right now, so I opt for skirts and tops. If they are the same fabrics, they can look like dresses!

  3. Forgot to comment on the BFTH. I did Pricilla Shirer’s bible study “Elijah” and highly recommend it to you. You can do alone if you don’t do group bible study. You can rent the videos that go with the study book online at Lifeway.com. I did it alone during Covid then my ladies group wanted to do it all together so I did it again. :). I love Elijah.

  4. All the dresses are cute except I don’t like high necklines especially in the summer. My sister bought low heel sandals at Target that look exactly like the ones you are wearing.

    1. I am a big fan of wearing dresses and I like all the ones you styled can’t pick out just one cause I would wear them all

  5. Oh my!!!! You look so beautiful in all of them. Hard to choose my favorite as they are all so different. I’m always drawn toward the look of the first one, but when I try them they don’t feel like me. I feel my best in the sheath style. The fit and flare is fun in casual solid colors with flat sandal for Summer to replace shorts. I thought of you when I purchased a deep purple one from LOFT. I just love all these. I was thinking of ordering the fit and flare blue and white one but most sizes gone…. My size. Great prices on these.

  6. I loved the Eliza J dresses and would have purchased one or both. They’re my style and beautiful. I opened your blog fairly early this morning with the hope of getting a jump on the selections. How frustrating and disappointing to see that there are no sizes available in either of these dresses. Oh well…
