Top Sellers April 2023

It’s a new month, and before we start looking at summer fashion and getting ready for all those cookouts, we’re going to take a quick look at the top sellers from April. April started warm here, but the last two weeks have been unusually cool. I hope May warms up so we can get outside and enjoy all the fun warm weather activities.

10. Rufle Sleeve Dress

This pretty pink color is perfect for spring, and I kept it casual with flip-flops.

9. Black Lace Tank

I love this lace tank; it’s perfect for summer and comes in so many pretty colors.

Lace tank top (small) • Flare Denim (size 4) • Cowboy Boots • Earrings

8. Black Leggings

My leggings are from Amazon, and they’re the ones I grab the most often. My sneakers have lots of support and cushion for strength training.

7. Cargo Pants

Cargo pants are on-trend, and I love these from Walmart. They have a slim fit with pockets, and they’re under $30.

6. Halter Maxi Dress

This dress is modest enough with the halter neck and length to wear to church, especially if you add a jacket, while still feeling on-trend. Even though it has an elastic waist, I added a belt that I already had to accentuate it, along with neutral accessories from the earrings and shoes.

5. Straw Handbag

This bag has a magnetic snap closure and an inside pocket. It is surprisingly lightweight and big enough to hold everything that I need.

These Vince Camuto wedges have a woven strap, an enclosed heel, and an adjustable buckle ankle strap. They’re such a pretty sandal!

I’m so glad you stopped by!! You can find me on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart™Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:10-12

Truth: We face a powerful enemy whose goal is to defeat us. He tries to get us to sin against God and to diminish our faith. He will do anything, and he’s working hard to discourage us. Nothing is off-limits.

But God! Thankfully, we have God, and we can put on the full armor (The armor is truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17) and take our stand. Today, put on the full armor and know that God is with you.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. We did the loop around MI and climbed several lighthouses. Also took in Mackinaw Island. Great trip. But for now, try Branson MO area. Good camping and lots to do.

  2. I love your message “Beauty for the Heart”. I will keep it as a reminder and mark Ephesians chapter 6 in my Bible so I can easily find it when I need reinforcement against the evil in our world…which sadly is every day.

  3. I’m originally from Michigan and have spent a lot of time in the UP. It’s a beautiful place, but you should be warned about the bugs this time of year. In my opinion, the sweet spot for visiting the UP is mid-July through end of August to get the best weather and least negative impact from biting insects.

  4. I live in Michigan and yes it is cold and so would the upper peninsula. You want to come the end of June though August. Even September can be spectacular. It is our favorite place to go and camp. So much hiking and things to do outside. The night sky is amazing. Lake Superior looks like the ocean with out the sharks. We are going end of June to Cedarville then over to Copper Harbor. From their we are taking the three hour boat ride to Isle Royale which is a national park. We stay one night on the island because that is all we could get. The rest of the summer it is booked. It is the least visited national park but has the most return trips by people who can’t get enough of its beauty. From their we go to Mackinaw City and take the boat to see Mackinaw Island. I have been waiting for this trip all year. Later in the summer we go to wine country in the Traverse City area with another camping trip. Need any ideas of camping in Michigan, let me know!

  5. If you have the opportunity to travel to the U P of Michigan don’t let a little chilly weather deter you! It is so pretty and don’t miss visiting Mackinaw Island! It is so charming. We have traveled all over this amazing world and Mackinaw Island is in my top 10.

  6. You look so cute with a hat. I like the whole outfit dress hat and belt. I finally saw where to enter the May contest. It’s barely visible on my phone. The print is so small.

  7. What a trip in a life time to get to go to Israel. I can’t travel far with chronic migraines. I get discouraged and envy those who get to. I will love hearing about your trip and seeing your pictures. Please share. Fall is so beautiful and wonderful time to travel. That is neat Wayne is leading such a big group. A lot to coordinate. I bought some things off your top ten listings. Great items.

  8. You must be so excited to be able to plan for your upcoming group trip. I love all of your outfits, footwear and accessories. I am wondering if you can offer any options for people with foot problems (I have Morten’s Neuroma). This can be a challenge when purchasing footwear. Sneakers/runners and hiking boots are easier than trying to find some great dress shoes and boots. Hoping you can help when you are able to find some extra time.

    1. Angie there’s a website called Healthy Feet Store. I get their email because I ordered their nail polish which doesn’t contain bad chemicals. They have a lot of shoes for different foot problems. They include dress shoes and sandals and inserts. They might have something to help you.

    2. My Morten’s Neuroma was removed several years ago. My podiatrist recommended Hoka “Clifton” and I took them. Terrific choice for me.
I would suggest visiting a store where they really know about feet and get them to truly fit you. Good luck finding what you need, but these would be a great place to start.

  9. I would love to go on your trip to Israel! Maybe someday your husband could lead a trip for Beauty for the Heart subscribers.

  10. You were asking for camping suggestions in today’s email. I recommend Grand Ecore RV Park in Natchitoches, La. It is the oldest town in the Louisiana purchase, founded in 1714. It’s a beautiful place, like a mini New Orleans but safer, cleaner, and with a more relaxed feel. The RV park is beautiful with well-tended grounds and full amenities. My parents stay there frequently.

  11. Love your posts! I live in Michigan and can tell you camping at Tahquamenon Falls State Park is wonderful. You can visit the Upper and Lower Falls and walk all over the beautiful area. The Porcupine Mountains State Park is further northwest and has gorgeous scenery and hiking. And, you MUST stop at Kitch-iti-kipi! Look it up… it’s this very cool natural springs that you take a boat over (hand crank it from one side to the other) and you can see clearly all the fish and beautiful scenery on the glass bottom boat AND it’s free! It will be a half hour out of your life you won’t forget! Dress warm and comfortable and be amazed at the beauty of the U.P. especially as you cross the mighty Mackinac (pronounced Mackinaw) Bridge that connects the lower and upper peninsulas! Safe travels!!

  12. My favorite outfit is the one with the black lace top, dark wash jeans and white cowboy boots. It’s understated but classy with a bit of an edge. I think the white cowboy boots with darker pants and top really give it a modern edge. You look so amazing in it! I think you mentioned that you wore it to your nephew’s concert. That’s a great concert outfit in my opinion!
