May Finds from QVC

Tremendous thanks to QVC and Collective Voice for sponsoring this post.

I’m a huge fan of QVC because they are a one-stop shop with things for your home, fashion, beauty, kitchen, and more. Today I’m sharing some of my May finds; the first is Today’s Special Value (TSV). Today only the Vitamix is $279.98 (The regular price is $479.95)!

I have wanted a Vitamix for several years because I heard how easy it is to make smoothies and so many other things. I finally got one, and it does not disappoint! The Vitamix is great for making smoothies and powers through fruit, greens, and ice with no problems at all.

Vitamix can make creamy peanut butter and hearty puree soup. It comes with a simply soups cookbook and a manual that also has lots of recipes.

My favorite thing to make is a green smoothie. Add water, fruit, chia seeds, ground flax seed, protein powder, greens, and ice, and create an amazing smoothie! Always load liquids closest to the blades, then soft items, then hard or frozen items. The liquids on the bottom prevent air pockets from forming around the blades. And the weight of the frozen items on top helps to push the other ingredients into blades for a seamless blend.

I can’t believe how quickly it blends fruit and greens; it’s fantastic!

So quick and easy, and I have a healthy smoothie.

This month QVC has some incredible deals on makeup, including this tarte Skin Treat 5 Piece Full Face Color Set. It’s a beauty IQ steal at $59.00; if purchased separately, it would cost $139.

  1. We bought one for my son. He loves it. Uses it every morning. I do not have one. Didn’t think I’d get a lot of use out of it. I hadn’t thought about soups.
I may have to rethink this.

  2. I have a vitamin MIx my daughter gave me when she was getting the new and improved version with new color she wanted. It works great for me and blends anything. I do find if I’m making just a single serve smoothie without ice and just frozen fruit, veggies and protein powder, I just use my small nutri bullet. Enjoy, you’ll love it.

  3. Thanks for this post on the Vitamix , Cyndi. I’ve been thinking about purchasing one for years. I currently have an Oster which does do a decent job of making the smoothies I love to do in spring and summer. I suppose I could always donate the Oster to justify getting the Vitamix! It sounds that the Vitamix has amazing capabilities!

  4. Hi Cyndi, what a great and thorough post! I happen to love QVC and you give some great products and info here.
I’ve had a Vitamix that I bought from QVC about 10 years ago. It’s one of the most used appliances in my kitchen.
I make soups and smoothies too. Favorites are a strawberry protein shake; simply with frozen strawberries and protein powder. Sometimes I add baby spinach. You can’t taste the spinach.
The soup I make most often is broccoli cheddar. 4 minutes in the Vitamix and it’s done. Delicious!
