Beauty for the Heart™“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Truth: This verse is encouraging because it reminds us of the importance of trusting in God completely. As Christians, it can be easy to rely on our own understanding or try to control every aspect of our lives. However, this verse reminds us to surrender our plans, worries, and uncertainties to God, acknowledging His wisdom and sovereignty.

Let me encourage you today to lean on God rather than your own understanding. As you trust in Him, He will provide clarity, comfort, and blessings.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. Cyndi, love so much of what you show!
I’d like to know where you got your office rug? I really like it and think I have the perfect place for it.
    Thanks

  2. I hope everything is okay with you, Cyndi. It’s unusual for you to miss your daily email and blog post.

I learned how to tightline eyeliner after watching your Insta video, some time ago. It’s such a great way to wear it, but I did wonder if it could be detrimental to eye health. A YouTube video popped up in my feed that I found very helpful. Dr. Wong is an ophthalmologist who also loves eye makeup. If you get the chance you might find it informative. She gives tips on how to do it safely.

  3. Just as an FYI for the New Balance sneakers you had posted as sold out. I ordered them from the New Balance site earlier in the spring in the Big Kids size. A day or two ago there were still some of the Big Kid sizes left. I wear a 6.5-7 in women’s shoes and ordered a 5.5. I will say I think I might have been able to get away with a size 5. They are a bit wide for my average width feet. I am only wearing them as fashion sneakers so I don’t know how they would hold up to regular athletic use.

  4. I agree with everything you say about summer fashion!
I love everything you are wearing in this post. So cute.
If I were your age, I’d wear it all!

  5. I also very much enjoy your What I Wore posts. Your style is casual yet classy and well put together. Just one of the reasons why I continue to get so much inspiration from you.

  6. I’ve had the verse in the BFTH memorized for a long time now, as I need to remind myself to not rely on my own understanding. I love how you put it……surrender our plans, worries and uncertainties to God…… I often need to do this. We can’t do this life on our own. Our human nature will always find something to worry about, especially us mama’s and grandma’s. Thanks for the reminders Cyndi. Bless you.
I love these What I Wore Post. Its nice to see what you really wear on a daily basis. I love the outfits. I need to get up to a JCREW. I have a hard time ordering online from there, as I can’t get the sizing right. Do you think they tend to run small? Have a good day.
