Summer Fashion Try-On

I’m ready for the upcoming holiday weekend with some cute tops, and I’ve also got pretty summer pieces from Avara. I’ll be doing a try-on over on Instagram today with my Avara pieces if you want to check that out!

I ordered this T-shirt at Jane.com. It’s hard to read in my mirror selfie, but it’s a quote from Tom Petty’s Free Fallin song, She’s a good girl, loves her mamaLoves Jesus and America too. I’m wearing my TTS, small, but I would size up for a looser fit.

This navy top from Old Navy has a twisted front hem, and it’s elasticized in the back. No need to tuck because this top sits perfectly.

This is a lightweight button down shirt with stars and stripes, so it’s great for the 4th of July holiday. It runs a little big, so I sized down.

I love this halter tank in red for the 4th of July, but it comes in lots more colors. You need to wear a racerback bra with this tank. I paired this top with denim shorts from Walmart that are under $15 and so comfortable. I’m also wearing Sorel wedge sandals. I love a heel, and these are so comfortable! They look great with shorts or any crop pants/jeans.

This THML brand top is so colorful and pretty! Just the right amount of ruffles on the sleeve and a higher neckline. Lightweight and perfect for hot weather.

The Ramona top is for you if you’re looking for a pretty summer top with sleeves. I also love that it’s loose-fitting and has beautiful embroidery at the neckline. This is a THML brand top.

This might be the prettiest white top I’ve seen this summer. I love the scalloped hem, and of course, I love that it’s eyelet.

Truth: In this verse, God is speaking to His people, the Israelites, who are facing a time of great uncertainty and fear. They have been conquered by their enemies and are in exile, and they do not know what the future holds. But God assures them they don’t need to be afraid because He is in control. He has already proclaimed and foretold this time of trouble, and He will see them through it.

God’s words remind us that He is always with us, no matter what we face. He is the Rock of our salvation and will never leave or forsake us. When we are afraid, we can always turn to Him for comfort and strength.

If you are feeling afraid today, I encourage you to take some time to reflect on this verse and remember that God is your Rock.
