3 Ways to Style a Gray Sweater

Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend? We had a low-key weekend, and as always, it went by too fast. Today, I’m sharing 3 Ways to Style a Gray Sweater. It’s not a plain gray sweater; it’s a Kitty Print Mockneck Sweater, and I wore it to church yesterday.

The sweater is from Social Threads, a small female-owned business that sells stylish clothes. You can check them out here.

3 Ways to Style a Gray Sweater

1. Gray Sweater + Black Coated Jeans

I styled the sweater with black coated jeans from Ann Taylor. They’re dressier than black jeans and will look great with lots of sweaters for fall and winter.

2. Gray Sweater + Faux Leather Skirt

This faux leather skirt is from LOFT, and it looks great with this sweater.

3. Gray Sweater + Denim

This is a casual look with denim and wedge booties.

Beauty for the Heart™Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

This simple verse is a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness. It is a call to us to give thanks to Him for all that He has done for us.

How can we respond to God’s goodness and love? The psalmist tells us to give thanks. This means taking the time to acknowledge and appreciate all that God has done for us. It means expressing our gratitude to Him for His blessings.

When we give thanks to God, we are also acknowledging that He is the source of all our blessings. We are saying that we are dependent on Him and that we need Him in our lives.

So today, look around you and give thanks to God.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out!

  1. Good Morning, Thank you for always being a daily inspiration! When life can seem daunting with all the darkness that surrounds us, your words are uplifting.

I have never tried petite size pants, and am wondering if one would wear the same size as in regular size pants? I have a very short torso, and regular high rise come up to high. I would love to hear your input on this! Thank you,

    Denise

    1. Denise thank you, and I want to be uplifting. Life is hard and there’s so much going on, it can be overwhelming. As far as petie sizes,
every once in a while I’ll order petite and I wear the same size in petite as I do regular. It usually is just the length that is adjusted. I hope that helps!

  2. Love the leather skirt! I have one from Loft from last year I bought. I love it but I need to think up outfits or you may have some ideas that I could use for a lengthening look with a skirt . For some reason I feel like being petite & wearing a skirt can chop me in half if not careful. I guess tone on tone or one color might help , huh? Love the kitty sweater!!!

    1. Bonnie I’m petite too. I try to wear the same tone of shades to look taller. I’ve learned a lot from Chi petite dressing on YouTube on petite dressing to look taller. I follow the 1/3 on top and 2/3 on bottom rules as much as I can. Hope this helps.

  3. So did you keep all the things and just restack them? I have so many boxes I struggle with getting rid of sentimental items.
