Gobbling Up the Style: Thanksgiving Day Outfit Ideas

Happy Friday! I’m excited to be teaming up with two ladies today to share some Thanksgiving Day Outfit Inspiration. Dawn at Party Til Dawn and Lisa at Coast to Coast are both amazing content creators, and you’ll want to check out their Thanksgiving Day Outfits. They’re both on Instagram, too; you can find Dawn here and Lisa here.

Thanksgiving Day Outfit Ideas

1. Neutral Outfit

I’ve got several Thanksgiving Day outfits for you, and the first is a neutral look with a light khaki sweater and expresso faux leather pants.

The sweater is from LOFT, and it runs slightly big. I’m wearing a small but could have sized down.

If you’re traveling on Thanksgiving and the weather is cold, this camel coat looks great with a casual or dressier look. Lisa is wearing the same coat in her post. Haha!

2. Blazer Outfit

Next, I’m styling this LOFT blouse with straight-leg jeans and a blazer. I’m wearing wedge boots, add a pair of flats if you don’t want to wear a heel.

This blazer has been a top seller for weeks, and I’m so glad because I love it.

3. Casual Leggings Outfit

You can’t go wrong with leggings if you’re looking for a more casual option or a great outfit for Black Friday shopping. This turtleneck sweater is long enough to wear over leggings and comes in several colors.

This brand of leggings is one of my favorites on Amazon, and my sneakers are a fashion sneaker for under $60.

A casual tote from Walmart carries all the essentials. My bracelets are from Daily Gold, and I get asked about them often. I wear them all the time (I sleep in them too). You can find them HERE.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

  1. Hi Cyndi, Have you found the leggings provide good coverage or when you bend over can you see through the fabric? If I’m wearing them as fashion leggings with tunic, it won’t be an issue but if I decide to wear them to the gym it would be. Would love your feedback before I order. Thanks so much!

  2. Good afternoon Cindy thank you for sharing the post with us beautiful clothes I love the shoes on the pocketbook I’m trying to find a pair like those that you have on any Brown coat.Have a blessed weekend

  3. These are all very nice, but when it comes to Thanksgiving Day, I’m all about the comfy, possibly lounge or leggings kind of outfit!! 😀 It must have a stretchy waist! LOL! <3

    Blessings!!

  4. Love all these casual looks! You introduced me to the Daily Gold bracelets which I love and I own two. I’m going to treat myself to a third once the holidays are over. I’m so grateful for your blog since I’m not on Facebook or Instagram. Thank you!

  5. I love all these looks! I’m a fan of faux leather pants. They can be dressed up or down so easily and are comfortable too! I just purchased my first pair of black coated denim. I always found them to be too stiff but this year I found a great pair from Walmart and they were much softer with a bit of stretch!
I hope Wayne and your daughter ( and her family ) are all feeling better!

  6. Love all these and especially the leggings and tunic sweater. I think I started following you about 8-10 years ago when it was much simpler but still so fun. Thanks for all you do to encourage us to look our best. Happy Thanksgiving!!

  7. I really like the first two outfits. You look so sharp. I’m over the leggings and tunic outfits. You would think as an older woman I would like them. I wore them a few years but never really liked them. I’ve always liked tailored clothes. That’s what I miss about working in the office dressing sharp. I’m learning to like casual clothes just not leggings. I find sweats and shorts more comfortable.

    1. Terri I’m with you. I’m more tailored but I also know a lot of women love them so I like to share options,
And I do wear them when I work out so I have quite a lot of leggings.

  8. I love all these. I’m so glad you still post leggings and the cute longer sweaters. I like to wear them still. Mostly around home or errands out. All these outfits are my style, but I haven’t tried coated pants yet. You always look so cute in them. I have no idea what I’m wearing for either holiday yet. It’s now usually just my grown kids and grands and they all like to be casual. Me too if cooking. Last year we all stayed in our Christmas PJs all day. First for me. Lol. Fun to see your friends post too. Have a great weekend.

  9. Amen to life’s simple gifts. I appreciate those same things Cyndy! I will be 65 next month but I LOVE your blog ; especially since you include Beauty for the Heart. It speaks to me every day.
I’m not on Instagram ; not crazy about Facebook any more but hope you continue to bless us!! Have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving.

  10. Good morning Cyndi!!
I love you wear All these beautiful clothes!!
Every one of these pieces looks great on you !

    Have a beautiful blessed day

  11. Well I guess great minds really do work alike…LOL That coat is so good and the price is amazing. I love all three of these looks. Honestly, I’d choose to wear the leggings. HA!
