Beauty For the Heart™– When we meditate on God’s word, we are transformed by its power. Romans 12:2
Truth: Meditating on God’s words, helps us develop a stronger faith, cultivates an inner peace, and can transform us from the inside out.
I recently heard someone say it this way, “When you study God’s word, you are adding faith deposits.” We don’t know when, but those faith deposits will make a difference when we face difficult seasons.
Let’s make reading God’s word a priority!

Wonderful holiday outfits to buy or copy by shopping in my closet. Aww, Cyndi I lost my Mom Oct. 2020 I still want to pick up the phone and talk to her all the time. The holidays are especially poignant when thinking of our loved ones in heaven.
Hugs and Prayers.

Oh, dear girl! Your Mom is with you all the time! Just on the other side rooting you on and sending you love. She is SO proud of you and wants you to be happy. Everyone’s going to have such a good time at your party – they’re not really going to notice or remember the centerpieces. However, they will remember wonderful you! Hugs, hugs and more hugs!
Thank you for that. You helped me too.
Your post made me cry too I recently lost my baby brother unexpectedly & Thanksgiving was the first holiday without him. My parents are both gone & now it’s just my sister & me.
Hello Cyndi,
So sorry to hear that you are missing your mother. It is harder at Christmas time for sure, for I have lost my Dad it has been seven Christmas without Dad and I can not help to cry missing him. Crying somehow brings me comfort remembering Dad. I am sure that remembering your mom brings you comfort as well.
Hugs and kisses
Natalia
Natalia, my mom said, “Tears are liquid prayers that flow straight to the heart of God.” 💕
Oh my gosh….I just love this Cyndi! I will remember this and share it with others. I was thinking how life is so ironic. When my Mom was still around and my Mother-in-law – I was busy with kids and work. Now I have all this free time as I’m retired and I would love to spend time with these loved ones. Still makes me sad.
Thank you, Cyndi, for opening up about your feelings of loss. My mother passed away about a year and a half ago. So many people told me that the first year after a loved one dies is the hardest. I’m not sure I agree with that sentiment. What I do agree with 100% is that the feelings of grief and loss can come so quickly and unexpected sometimes. I’ve learned to trust that these feelings will fade like an ocean wave, but hearing your share the same feelings was really helpful in reminding me that I’m not alone. Thank you.
My sister passed away 10 years ago. We were very close. We lost our mother when we were in our 20’s and we missed her so much but we had each other. I miss her so much especially during the holidays.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of my mom. I miss her terribly. What I wouldn’t give for 1 more minute with her. Thanks for sharing
Me too Dana!
Hugs and blessings to you all, Jesus is near.
Beautiful outfits, wish I had somewhere to wear one of these to!! 😀
I was posting and accidentally sent too soon. Thinking of loved ones gone on has blurred my vision. Wonderful as Christmas is, it’s often when we miss those special people most acutely. May the memories of your Mom bring you much comfort.
Cindy, if you have a clear vase or candy jar, fill w water, add your greenery and some Cranberries, you could also add cut up oranges and cinnamon sticks, maybe some glittery picks, and a floating candle for a centerpiece (or stack a jar w a candle inside a larger jar and fill the larger jar w your greenery or if you have any ornaments use them). I think the greenery and candles on the tables will be lovely! A few ideas: add small/mini bells, pinecones, snowflakes, cinammon sticks, ribbon or mini ornaments to them for extra pizzazz! There’s an easy snowflake you can make out of brown or white Luncheon bags that make a huge impact! You can hang them or lay/prop them around your house. There’s a tutorial online. I know whatever you do, it will be wonderful. Put on some Christmas music and enjoy your relationships and time spent together! God Bless!
I understand and feel similarly. Just reading your comments brings tears to my eyes. It’s my 3rd Christmas without my Mom. My emotions are close to the surface more than usual during the holidays. Big hugs to everyone struggling.
I’m there with you, Cyndi! I lost my mom 9 years ago. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could call her. She was my best friend. I want to share things about my grandkids with her because I know she would be so proud. There is nobody else who can fill that void.
I lost my dad to cancer 2 years ago. He was 75. I lost my oldest brother a month ago to cancer. He was 53. To say I am struggling and heartbroken is an understatement. I miss them both so much. Nothing in life prepares you for the loss of a sibling. It’s devastating, and I cry every day. Even just typing it makes me tear up.
Many years ago when companies still had big holiday parties. Hotels, I I would dress up in the most beautiful gowns. This doesn’t happen now days Here in Colorado nColorado, people dress very casual, especially for house parties which is where we find ourselves going. The casual outfitss you styled are great for those occasion’s.
A you please tell me where you bought the white lamps, I think they are in your great room. They have some gold on them. I wanted to purchase them. Thank you, joan
Joan I bought those several years ago at Kirklands and I can’t find them online now, I’m sorry!
I lost my Mom in July. She was 91 and was in a nursing home. She had dementia. Up until the last few months before she died, she would call and ask how me and my family were doing. She was a godly woman with a heart of gold. I remember all of the Thanksgivings and Christmases at her house. I really miss her!
Belinda…. I understand dementia. I’m loosing my mom slowly with it. She is very close to not knowing me anymore. I’ve been grieving loosing her slowly, before I really loose her. Sorry for your lose. 🙏Cyndi, you are right. It hits you at unexpected times. I teared up as you shared. Thank you for sharing. We all need to know the ones behind these glamorous blogs are like us with real life struggles. Right when the Christmas decor came out I was shopping and went into a new decor store. My first thought was, “Mom would love this.” My mom was my shopping buddy. We would shop, break for lunch, then shop, break for coffee and dessert, then shop and break for dinner. That was back in the days you shopped until you dropped and not online. lol. We had fun times and now she sits in memory care and can’t remember any of it. I teared up in the store that day and left. I lost my dad 25 yrs ago from a fall from a ladder. I miss him so much especially during this time of year. He loved Christmas with my kids. They were 11,7 and 3 when he passed. Now 37,32,29 and have kids of their own. I wish he could see their kids. But, he is with our Lord and it’s far better. He will celebrate Christmas with the King of Kings in person again this year. Bless you all who are struggling missing loved ones. I see you and so does HE.
❤️❤️❤️
My mom past 2 years ago and I still have times when it’s difficult especially during the holidays💕
