Winter weather is here, so I’m ready to head south for warmer weather. Many of you are planning your own warm-weather getaway, so I’m sharing some resort wear for your next vacation. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of cute and colorful resort styles.
This shirtdress can be worn as a coverup or a dress. I ordered a small, but I wish I had sized down. I added a belt, giving the dress a little more shape. The quality is excellent, and I love a crisp white dress.

This dress is also from Tuckernuck. They call it a coverup, but I’ll wear it as a dress. I love the color! I paired most of my dresses with these wedge sandals. They are so comfortable and go with all my outfits. I will also wear them with my spring and summer dresses.

After changing out the closet to spring summer clothes, I could not see another shoe that would look as good as those. Might be a little late to share…we just got home from a 9 day Caribbean cruise…seriously, the best thing I packed was a hanging shoe rack. We had two closets with lower shelves but, everything gets lost. The shoe rack was great. Bon voyage!

Love the green floral maxi dress. I’m wanting to purchase this for my daughter. She is 5’7.5” tall, weighs about 120 pounds and is small in her upper chest- about 32 A-B. Based on the fit of the dress on you in the small, would you advise an extra small or small for her.

FYI to anyone planning to come down south for warmer weather…. It is NOT summer time down here! It’s actually currently below freezing, which is atypical. But even when it’s not, our typical winter weather is in the 50s. Much better than the weather y’all are leaving behind! But not warm enough for shorts and sandals! I tell all my northern friends coming for winter to dress like they would in spring not summer. Hope this helps anyone headed this way! (And yes I realize Cyndi is going on a cruise and it may be warmer, this is intended for anyone headed to the southern states. For reference, I’m about an hour north of the Gulf of Mexico).
I would love to see you do a post on what to pack for a 2 week trip to Europe in June. I am such an overpacker! Can you suggest how to pare down toiletries? What type of clothing and shoes to bring? My daily “uniform” is athlesuire and running shoes, I want to look nice but comfort is more important to me. I appreciate any suggestions you have. I hope you a wonderful trip!
You may want to check out Jo Lynn Shane’s blog. She went to Italy last summer. She has a lot of good info on packing. She knows how to pack the minimum on a carry-on too. I believe her family shared one big suitcase for some things but everyone had most of their clothes in a carry-on bag.

Hi Cindy, love the Tuckernuk dresses on you.. question: the clear wedges you are wearing with them, it says they run small. Did you size up? They only have whole sizes so not sure what to do.

It does not open. It’s much more conservative than what the model is showing. They always try to make them looks super sexy. 🤷🏻♀️

We have been on several cruise lines and Celebrity is our favorite. But with that said, we have never done the next level up.
I’ve heard the Oceania Cruises are amazing.
We’ve been on several Celebrity cruises and we were very happy. Also, love Holland America, great entertainment on many stages, jazz, blues, rock and roll. It felt like a wedding party every night!

I know your grandkids will miss you. We are 17 degrees with wind chill 9 here today in NW Oregon with snow. Suppose to turn to freezing rain. We don’t get snow often so I’m enjoying it. So pretty.
