How To Update Your Style in 2024

Who’s ready to talk about 2024 fashion trends? I get giddy seeing what’s coming in the fashion world each year. Not because I’m going to be wearing every trend, but because it’s fun to see new styles and which styles will resonate with the average woman. So, if you’re like me and love fashion, let’s see how we can update our style in 2024!

I have scoured blogs and YouTube channels and picked the 2024 trends that I like and can see myself wearing. Let’s get started!

Here is How To Update Your Style in 2024

1. 3D Florals

This year, you’ll see 3D florals on dresses, blouses, handbags, and more.

Beauty For the Heart™In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Truth: Jesus, speaking to his disciples, acknowledged the reality of “tribulation” in the world.  Yet, amidst this harsh truth, He offered a beacon of hope: “But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus does not abandon us in our struggles. If we remember that the ultimate victory has already been won, we can claim the peace of Christ in the most difficult times.

  1. I bought a pair of Dolce Vita pewter loafers and they just came in the mail. Hope they fit. I have lots of clothes that need a cool tone shoe. Could you style the white bow blouse you bought and I did too, 5 ways? I’d like to see it done casual and tied not too big and maybe hanging ties too. Just some fun options. I haven’t worn mine yet. Too cold. Glad to see the new trends aren’t too “out there.”

  2. I like everything but the flowers and bows. I have several wide leg jeans and pants because I have embraced that style since it came back in. I never liked skinny jeans so I bought several flares and wide leg styles. I also will always have straight leg jeans and pants because they’re classic. I like to watch fashion YouTube videos. There’s contradiction on what is in or out though. I just wear what suits my body and lifestyle and like.

  3. I love shoes and I would always choose a heel as well, but I fell down the stairs in 2023 and broke my upper arm which has made opt for more secure shoes. I like the bow trend as long as it is on the smaller side, but I do not like the button down shirt that is half tucked in. It reminds me of when my boys were small and their shirt tail would work its way out of their pants. I am NOT a fan. Glad belts are coming back

  4. I’m liking the metallic shoes! Great way to take jeans and tee shirt to the next level! Will we be seeing gold as well or just a focus on silver!?

  5. I love stripes but have plenty in my closet for summer since I have always liked stripes. I remember the bow trend in the 80’s and will not be doing those at my throat again. They aren’t great on petites. Wide legs I wore to the knee doctor in the fall from Gap and had them hemmed and have been hanging there since but I should wear them more often. I usually reach for itty bitty bootcut or slight flared ones jeans or boyfriend/girlfriend jeans. Would love for you to consider a post on styling the wide leg flare jeans with tops. Love the tennis shoes! Thanks for your help in keeping us in the know for Spring!

  6. I was very happy To see you are going to do a post on shoes, I need something with a good arch support but stylish. Iconic is comfortable but not always the best style. Thanks for your blog and fashion advice.

  7. I love stripes and own several shirts! I recently bought a pair of cap toe flats with a subtle bow. Can’t wait for warmer weather to style them with straight leg jeans and a lady jacket!
