As I’ve stated before, one of my goals for 2024 is to find more timeless closet staples that can be styled for different seasons and events. Spring has always been one of my favorite seasons because of all the fun you can have with the bright colors!
Florals are back and better than ever, and I love how feminine these floral blouses and dresses are. They are perfect for any upcoming vacations you may have planned and work perfectly for the summertime.
A new trend that will be popular this spring is the one-shoulder blouse top. This one from Nordstrom is satin and very comfortable – perfect for the warmer months since it’s lightweight and versatile. Another trend I’ve always loved for the spring is striped button-down shirts. They are elegant yet casual and are so fun to accessorize!

We all know how chilly it can be when transitioning from winter to spring fashion, so I wanted to include a few trendy jacket options to add to your look. A lightweight blazer is a great way to elevate a casual outfit while protecting you from the colder winds. Leather is still very trendy, and this black leather blazer is a great option for incorporating two fashion trends into one! Trench coats are my favorite during spring because they are not too heavy and work great for rainy days. They will effortlessly elevate your outfits and can be styled with anything.
Spring denim is here, and it’s all about cuffed jeans! I’ve always loved cuffed jeans and think they are very flattering for my body type, especially when I’m going for a more casual look. The 80s fashion trend of denim on denim is making an exciting back for the spring, so for all of my denim lovers, this is your time to shine!

Loafers will also be very big this spring – they are the perfect shoe for casual, everyday errands or workwear pieces. These brown loafers are perfect for transitioning from winter to spring! If you want to add some fun colors to your look, these silver loafers are another great option. I wouldn’t classify them as a closet staple, but silver is very trendy this year, and it’s a fun way to level up any outfit!

I’m adding white sneakers. I want Adidas court sneakers. It’s hard to find the Sambas but there’s a look a like I’m considering. I will continue to wear wide leg pants and striped tops. I love blazers and jackets. I don’t want any florals. As pretty as they can be those are the prints that become dated and frumpy. It’s always older women who wear them. I rarely see young women in florals except for dresses. I’m an older woman but don’t want to dress like one. I like a classic but modern look.

I am just loving the stripes! Also realized from this post, that I really like the look of camel and light blue together. I think those will be my transition to Spring colors! Then as the weather gets warmer, I will just change from my camel-colored boots, to my camel-colored sandals! LOL😂
