Happy hump day!! Today I’m sharing a black sweater with my favorite pair of booties. I wore this home from Ashford Acres Inn. It was starting to sprinkle rain when we left but we managed to get some pictures.
I also snapped some pictures of the inn but if you go their website, you’ll see some prettier pictures.
We stayed in the garden suite and it is beautiful and quaint.
My handbag is from Stitch Fix. I found it online at Amazon but they don’t have my exact color.
I wish we could have stayed another night because it was so peaceful!

I love the sweater! I have a similar one that I got at Macys. Black sweaters look great with so many different colors. I love to wear mine with burgundy jeans.

Hey Cyndi looking into getting these booties for myself and 3 others for Christmas. Do they run True to size and are they more taupe like shoes in your picture or Cordova like they look on Nordstrom site. :). Assuming comfortable as you wear a lot. Just have been hesitate because we all live where it rains and Swede booties can be bad in rain especially light colored. Plus with Wibter coming can we all still wear socks wiry them that won’t show? Do you wear socks with them? What kind? Thanks.
Yes, they are true to size and I wear no show socks with my booties:) I get mine from Nordstrom.

Cyndi, I’m happy for the worry reminders. I didn’t realize you will be moving. I know all will be well and very well. I have found that when something happens that wasn’t in my plan I look back to see that it was in fact God’s plan for me. You will see. On a funny note, I really like the bell sleeves. Mix them with frozen yogurt in the console cup holder in the car and you do have
a problem. At least yogurt washes out easily. 😎Your outfit is really well put together and I like the light purse and booties . Good idea. Take care and have a blessed week.

One of my favorite verses… I haven’t been to Kentucky since I was a kid and we went to see the Stephen foster story. Would love to go back some day. I just purchased a sweater with the tie sleeve in black like the one you’re wearing can’t get enough of the details this year on clothing. Our weather here in Canada is still staying unbelievably warm highb70’s to 80’s very rare for us lol.
