3 Ways to Style Faux Leather Leggings

Happy Friday ladies! We have made it to the weekend, I don’t know about you, but we have a busy few days ahead of us. I feel like this time of year we start to try and fit as many activities in because we are trying to enjoy the season. It’s busy from now until the end of the year!

Today I have 3 Ways to Style Faux Leather Leggings. I purchased these from LOFT when they were on sale. I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of them over the next few months. Since these are leggings and not pants, I have styled them with tops that cover the places that need to be covered. Ha!

First up, I have a poncho from Target. I love a good poncho, and I think this is a pretty one with the fringe. However, I do think it’s a lot of material for my frame. It only comes in one size, and I like ponchos that come in smaller sizes.

I added my nude heels to give me some height, and of course, I’m wearing my favorite denim shirt.

I shared this outfit with you last week, but I love the polished look of a blazer.

Lastly, I styled a black turtleneck for an all-black outfit. This is probably my favorite way to wear these leggings, especially on a cold day.

Which way would you wear faux leather leggings?

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

  1. Love all 3, the ponch feels so warm, the black turtle stylish and the blaser I could use to work. Allways you vave being and inspiration for me. Have a nice sunday.

  2. I love the faux leather leggings. They all look great on you.
Question on checked pants. Are they more for the spring? or can they be worn now?

  3. So I notice there’s no bag styled with the poncho outfit… Someone asked on fb recently how to wear a purse with a poncho…Under it? Over it crossbody? Over it on the shoulder? Or stick to a satchel style? What do you think?

  4. I love the leggings! I must give them a try.
I have a pair that are faux leather in the front and knit on the back from last year.
Beauty from the heart is always a highlight in my morning. The heart is always a good place to start!
Enjoy your painting this weekend. What white did you decide to use?

  5. Cyndi,

    I enjoy your blog!

Would you please explain a little about FwFL. I’m interested in the program, but seems expensive for only 6 weeks.
Do you learn skills that will be helpful long term?
    Thanks,
    Tessa

    1. Yes, you definitely learn skills that are long term. You have one week of prep week that explains the Bootcamp and then 6 weeks to do the program. I know it’s expensive but I feel it was worth every penny the first time I did it. After the first one you get a discounted price if you ever do it again.

  6. All 3 look great but I do agree about that poncho. It does overtake you. I’d try the first two looks but with a different poncho… can’t wait to see your pics on your dining room. Can you style some holiday outfits soon? Have a great weekend. Headed to the bridal showcase with my daughter… yay 😀
    Have a great weekend
    Xo

  7. All 3 outfits looks great on you. I’m like you, I like a smaller fitting poncho but I’m only 5’3″. Enjoy your painting. I just bought paint and need to get on painting my bedroom.

  8. I was just at Target yesterday an tried on several of their ponchos. I walked away not buying one for the same reason you mention. I really like the all black outfit best. You look amazing and I think I would wear these on date night, even though I’m over 60 (a slim, fit 60). You look awesome in these leggings.

  9. You look beautiful in all three outfits so it is hard to choose my favourite.
I always look forward to your BFTH. I have copied so many and go back and read them again when I need encouragement. Thank you!

  10. Looking like a hot momma!! Love the outfits you have styled with these leggings! I’ve seen others that that gave me the googly/stunned eyes! LOL! You definitely make me want to try them! Last year around Christmas I was in Dillards and tried on a couple of pair from HUE and Lysse and did not like the way they fit. *Must try again*
Enjoy the painting and Have a lovely weekend!!

  11. I so enjoy your outfits, outlook, and heart. You are a rich gift to every day for us! You shine! Thanks so much for working hard on these for US!

  12. I love all three looks but am a little concerned for a woman over 60 (a really fit good looking over 60 haha) should wear the pants. I really appreciate the soup recipe as I have been looking for an easy one to keep on hand to take to sick neighbors etc. and for us for the cooler weather we KNOW is coming here in Texas.

    1. You could totally rock these! My 76 year old mom could even rock them! 🙂 May get her some. She has great, slender legs!

  13. I bought these same leggings and have worn them to the office with a longer tunic type blouse. I know I will get lots of wear from these and agree that they are really comfortable. Thanks for some more ideas on how to wear them Cyndi!

  14. I bought the exact leggings and they are sooo cozy and warm. Not appropriate for the office, I don’t think (wink) BUT most definitely date night out. I absolutely love these and I’m praying for really cold weather here in Texas to wear them. Thank you for bringing us these great looks, sending you blessings!
