Floral Dress: Wear Now and Later

This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. Thank you for supporting Cyndi Spivey sponsors.

Happy hump day! Today I’ve got a wear now and later post with a beautiful floral dress from Nordstrom.

The floral dress is under $60, and if you need a dress for an upcoming event, this one is a great option!

If you still have hot weather, you can wear this dress now with nude heels. The dress is a midi length with a front slit, and it has adjustable straps. I’m also wearing a strapless bra.

The dress has a v-neck, but it’s not a plunging neckline. It’s a polyester material, so there’s no wrinkling. This dress would travel well if you take it on vacation.

Floral is trending for fall so you don’t have to put this dress away. I’m adding a faux leather jacket for chilly fall weather.

A leather jacket is a transitional outerwear piece that works perfectly with any dress, including casual boho, knitted sweater-dresses, and floral dresses

I traded my nude heels in for a black block heel sandal. These sandals will be great to wear with dresses and jeans for fall.

Make sure you check out some of my favorite brands at Nordstrom, Caslon, Halogen, Leith, and BP.

I love pieces that I can wear now and later!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

  1. I have similar nude sandals, but the rest of this I’m not a fan of for myself. I clicked the dress link so I could see what the back and straps looked like, I wish you would put one pic of the back and less of the almost-identical front shots on your fashion posts so I could see it on a real person and not a store model.

  2. What nice pictures and yeah I wouldn’t have thought of putting them together. Can you show us a picture of the wall with them hanging? Pretty dress too and I like the added touch of the faux leather jacket for the cooler Weather.

  3. Love this outfit! You have me thinking that maybe I CAN pull off a leather (or faux leather) moto jacket at my age!
Would love to see a picture of your wall with the 3 pictures hung. THey are beautiful!

  4. Cute dress (great price) and I would not of thought to pair with moto jacket and a chunkier shoe. As always, you broaden my fashion options.
I looked at the minted links. “Reflection” is Lake Louise at Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta. Maybe you already know that. We were there exactly a month ago. We received a generous and lovely upgrade to their presidential suite (2 stories) with 2 heated balconies and this stunning view. Oh, pinch me! At first I thought minted had somehow accessed my photos. Stopped me in my tracks. LOL. It was a glorious trip. A beautiful, beautiful trip and our second time there. If you haven’t been there put it on you’re “to visit” list for sure. God spent some extra time there showing off his handiwork.

  5. The dress is super cute but It doesn’t come in a petite size which I would need since I’m 5’3″. It looks great with the leather jacket.

    1. I agree. I prefer the nude shoes. All I see in the second photo are black shoes, black jacket and black purse. I like the moto jacket with the dress. Not sure what I would like for shoes with it.

    1. These are my FAVORITE kinds of posts. Transitioning from season to season doesn’t have to mean freezing in the morning and/or roasting in the evening.
I am wild for those black shoes!
