Decorating For Fall

Hi friends and happy Thursday! I hope you are having a good week. I know it’s still hot outside, but I am ready to start decorating for fall.

This season goes by quickly, and I love to enjoy my fall decor, so I’m going to put it up now, and I can enjoy it for several months before I start decorating for Christmas (yikes, did I just say that?!)

Also, I style fall clothes, and sometimes I take pictures outside on my front porch. It looks off to be wearing fall clothes with my summer wreaths and rugs on my porch.

Okay, take a peek at my fall home decor favorites!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ I’m not sure if you’ve heard this song, but I can remember my Mom singing it when I was growing up. Such sweet memories!

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I LOVE to decorate for Fall. Fall is one of my most favorite seasons. I love the smell of leaves and the crackle sound as I walk on them; the mix of warm and cool air (can I bottle it and bring it out mid-Winter?); the beautiful bright red and orange leaves; hot cider; cuddling up on the couch in front of the fireplace. Did I say how much I LOVE Fall!?! I’m thinking it’s about time to decorate for Fall, too. It’s still warm here, but this year especially, family traditions are much needed to help ground all of us as we deal with our crazy world.

  2. I love the items you choose for fall! It is my favorite time of year. Could you share how and where you put some of these fall decoration. For some reason i get overwhelmed with all the pretty decorations and then can’t think what to do with them.

  3. I love fall decorating but when did pumpkins get white and polka dot? They are so cute but I really love the traditional orange

  4. What a wonderful hymn! And what a privilege to be able to sing it in church! Isn’t it wonderful that in the midst of Corona and our unsettled world, the Lord is still faithful! We see his faithfulness in the changing of the seasons and in the fall colors. Thank you Cyndi for the beautiful fall decor suggestions!

  5. Love your fall ideas! Yes, show us how you decorate for fall, please! Love this hymn, grew up singing it and still sing it in church!! Blessings to you all!

  6. I love the fall decor! I don’t do much because I’m a little challenged on what to do. Could you do an instastory of where you put these in your home?

  7. Oh that hymn – it’s of my favorite and can hear it being sung in our home too. Thanks for the great fall decorating pieces. I will order some and would love to see how you decorate your home for fall.

  8. That is my favorite hymn…it speaks so much of God’s love for us, and of His marvelous qualities! And, I LOVE decorating for fall!

  9. Thank you for the sweet memory of my mom, too, and the song, Great is Thy Faithfulness. Fond memories of my mom singing this – and being with her at church. That song does really say a lot.

  10. I change my home decor each season and have to say the Fall is my absolute favorite. My husband is from the Northeast and misses the autumn colors he grew up with. Giving him and our home the warmth of fall is the least I can do down here in Southeast Texas. Loved the fall items you shared, Cyndi!

    1. Such a beautiful hymn. When I’m in church and we sing this hymn and others that I grew up with I can hear my mom singing it! Although she’s singing it in heaven now. Oh how I miss her! Last year was the earliest I decorated for fall. We normally don’t do much here until October before our thanksgiving but it got cool last September and it put me in the mood much earlier! So I bought some new fall decor last year it was fun and we all enjoyed it . Then by mid November I’m all in for the Christmas season! 🍁🎄
