The first staple I picked up is this Madewell tee. The Madewell Shoulder Tee has a high round neckline and a slightly boxy fit. I like the loose fit.
It comes in black, off-white, and ash green. This tee will work alone, or I can wear it under a blazer, a jacket, or a cardigan.
Another staple for me for fall is denim. This fall, I’m adding straighter styles to my wardrobe. These Kut from the Kloth jeans are right on trend with the raw step hemline and slight distressing.
I can’t talk about fall staples without talking about a fall jacket. This cute utility jacket comes in several colors and will keep me warm on those cool fall days.
The jacket has a removable hood with an adjustable drawcord.
Plus it has a contrast striped sleeve lining which looks cute when you roll the sleeves up.

As always things around here keep changing with this Delta virus, so the BFTH spoke to me as my emotions have been a roller coaster lately. I have to admit I’m a little fearful to catch the virus. I already suffer so much and am down from migraines just can’t imagine virus on top of it. God says fear not so I have to remind myself of this often. Cute outfit. I have a pretty deep red… fall red utility jacket I thought I’d love and wear a lot, but I never grab it. I think a Neutral would be better. Didn’t know they were still on trend. As for the jeans I like them on you, but I had step hem on a white pair last year and this Spring I cut the back step off. 🙂 Like them much better. I’m still trying to get use to the looser fit for jeans. It makes me feel like the jeans are bagging out at the knees. I’m so use to my tighter skinnies. I’m not willing to give up my skinnies yet. Will you still wear skinnies? Such good news about Caroline. Every ounce is a blessings. Hope you get to meet her soon.
