What to Wear for New Year’s Eve

Happy Tuesday! I’m so excited to be teaming up with Jo-Lynne Shane today to share What to Wear for New Year’s Eve. Believe it or not, New Year’s Eve is less than two weeks away.

I’m not sure what our plans are yet, and we might be staying home in our pajamas, but if we decide to go somewhere, this is a festive outfit that will be perfect for a casual dinner or get-together.

What to Wear for New Year's Eve

My quilted handbag is from Avara; I’ve carried it a lot this fall. I love the size; it can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody.

I was recently introduced to the brand Boston Proper; they have very feminine and chic clothing. I’m wearing velvet pull-on pants.

My velour top is from EVEREVE; it has a cutout detail and is a pretty burgundy color.

Our weather will likely be cold, so I’ll need a coat to add to my outfit. This BB Dakota coat is perfect for cold weather.

Beauty for the Heart™~~ When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. Matthew 1:24-25

Truth: For a righteous man like Joseph, the prospect of living with this shame (a pregnant wife before marriage) might have been just as impossible to understand as a pregnant virgin.

We have all faced news that is hard to understand. We wondered how we could handle an impossible situation.

Do what Joseph did, bring Jesus into your home. Give your impossible situation to Him. Jesus doesn’t know the word impossible because all things are possible with Him. (Matthew 19:26)

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. For years now we always stay in for New Year’s Eve and then New Years Day we usually take down our LIVE tree and decorations. Rarely do I leave up the decorations passed New Years. I have been known to leave up our white outside lights into January and a couple times I’ve left my Christmas village up on my piano into January. I just love it and never ready to pack it away. Your outfit looks so cute and perfect…..not too dressy. Enjoy your baking day with the grands and Courtney. I have very fond memories of baking for Christmas with my grandma and even my 1st born got to for several years. Such fun memories for sure.

  2. Cyndi,
You always look so classy! Beautiful outfit! May God bless you and yours this Christmas and in the coming new year.

  3. Love the outfit! You can’t go wrong with a pull on pant as they always seem so flattering!
Every year we have gone to our friends New Year’s Eve party with about 80-100 people! However last year and again this year it will be cancelled because of gathering limits for indoors! Last year we did go to their place to hang out and play some virtual video games’ that was a laugh lol!!! But this year we may just stay home and watch the ball drop!!! Different times for sure!

    1. Karen…The ball might not drop this year. I hear New York is right now trying to decide if they are going to cancel the whole event. They plan to make the decision before Christmas.

  4. I love your outfit and hopefully you can wear it out somewhere but like you, we usually stay home on New Year’s Eve.
Thank you for sharing the salted caramels because I have 5 bosses (HOA board members) and have been racking my brain on what to get them. This will make a nice holiday gift or happy new year treat.
