27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Perfect Wedge #paylessforstyle

Welcome back to my 27 Days of Spring Fashion! I’m excited to be partnering with Payless again today and I’m styling the perfect wedge.

I have said this before but if you’re looking to refresh your spring wardrobe with some new shoes, Payless has you covered with on trend styles that won’t break the bank.

This is such a cute wedge and it comes in black and tan. It’s a 3 1/2 inch wedge but because it has a one inch platform, it doesn’t feel too high. It also has a padded footbed which is great!

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Perfect WedgeI styled these wedges with a my favorite black top from Nordstrom. I also added a leopard clutch and a gold cuff bracelet.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Perfect WedgeThese jeans were in my Stitch Fix box. They are just black brand and I love them!! If you get a Stitch Fix box, you might ask for this brand.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Perfect WedgeI think this is a great wedge for spring and summer!

  1. I am a payless fan. I never say a word to my peers who who would look down their (sweet usually loving) noses!! Just yesterday I bought your shoes in the tan color as well as the brown suede platform inspired by another of your blogs I have worn payless shoes for years due to the fact that I can be awfully hard on summer shoes and I don’t have to worry. I’ve attended two weddings on farms/barns, and I don’t have to worry about ruining them given their price point. Love love love them. Thank you for covering all levels of pricing on your blog. I adore your styling and Beauty for the Heart. Making some “pulled hem” hankies for a group of colleagues who will be surrounding a dear one at work. YOU ARE A BLESSING even for people who’ve been reading a long time yet rarely comment (like me).

  2. HI Cyndi. Your outfit is great! Love everything. What are you moving? If that’s too personal, no worries. I was just curious. Hope all is ok. Praying for a peaceful transition for you.

    1. oops I didn’t see this comment. We are purchasing a home with more land. We would like to have a small (very small) farm.
      Cyndi

  3. Hi CIndi,
I follow your blog everyday but always in silence….I am not someone who like to leave messages.
But today it is différent for me because I am Belgian and that is close to my heart to say thank you for your message to our country.
I hope you Will have a sweet day
    Cécile

  4. Cyndi, I will have you know that I now have 3 black shirts on order because of this particular blog post! 2 are tunic style and one has a slight variation in color. As you know, when you need a black blouse, you NEED a black blouse. I was going to put my hunt off for one until closer to next fall but you made this look so effortlessly great and I own a leopard clutch! I just might be stopping at Payless on the way home tonight! Thanks for sharing all your great looks with us!

  5. Hi – your followers should know the Payless online purchase/in store return policy – if you pay with PayPal, you cannot receive the credit on your credit card. You have to either do an exchange or receive store credit. Just happened to me and I wasn’t aware of the policy and was not pleased!

  6. Love the whole outfit! Those jeans are GREAT! I have some Kut from the Kloth jeans from Stitch Fix and they just have a great look and fit, very similar to those. Tempted to get the top and shoes…

  7. I love these shoes and the next thing I am going to do is link to the Payless site! But having just moved last year from my home of 22 years, where I raised my sons, built a lifetime of memories, shared things with my Mom, lived close to my sons (except AJ when he moved) I can tell you it tore my heart out. I was a hot mess for months, and had all that to pack and memories to sort thru, etc. And had to change jobs on top of it. So I get it. But I will promise you that God has a beautiful reason for opening a new door! We can see looking back how this is the very best place for us right now, it’s our first home that we got together, and we are building new memories every day. Also there have been situations we have been protected from by being away, and new opportunities. So trust that this is best, It’s really hard, but your new home will be so full of wonderful surprises! Blessings….and prayers for anticipation and joy!

  8. I love the outfits you style and notice that I have similar ones. I enjoy your posts and always look forward to seeing them everyday. I can totally relate to the sentimental emotions of moving. I have moved three times since 1983 and am planning another one in the next few years. It’s not hormonal, it’s really just who you are. It definitely is an adjustment but once you’re in the new home, you will fill it with the people and things that you love the most. Then you won’t want to leave that home . Thanks for your wonderful blog. You always do such a great job! 😊

  9. VERY cute wedges! I’d love to see more pics of your beautiful home before you move! Like back yard & front & inside if you’re ok. Have a blessed Easter, Spiveys! Yes, praying for Brussels!

  10. I have Always loved buying shoes at Payless! They have shoes that are in style and you don’t have to pay a fortune for! May God Bless you in your new home.

    Blessings,
    Holly

  11. I have a Payless right in my town, and I have never been inside! I purchased the sandals you were wearing on the blog last week, and I have to say they are one of the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever put me feet in!

  12. Cyndi
Thanks to you and Jolynne’s wonderful words about payless. I went on line last night when i cudnt sleep and order 3 pairs of shoes for teenage daughter and one pair for me. I may have to go to my local store and try these wedges on and see if they have espadrille Jo lynne had on the other. Thank so much to introducting me to Glamour Farm. Also for beauty reminders from Gods Word
    Blessings
    Nicki

  13. Very nice photo Cyndi! I totally get the emotions you are dealing with now. We need to try and focus all of the memories we’ve made, that no one can take away from us. I do wish I could be more like my husband and just see this place as a building and land.

    God bless!

  14. We moved out of our first house together two years ago. That house was too small for us and required just too much in order to make it right for us again. But it had three different spots that grew the most beautiful tiger Lillies. That first spring I miss the Lillies so much. But I was pleasantly surprised to find them in a few spots in my new neighborhood (though not in my yard) we rent this place, and hopefully this summer or fall we will be buying again, but in sure I will find something to miss about this house too!

  15. Great look! I actually recently bought 2 pair of shoes at payless – haven’t been there in forever! They are both cute sandals and will work spring, summer, and fall – and I figure, if by next year they are out of style I won’t be too bothered since they were so inexpensive. Both are very comfy and I’m ready to wear them! Love the jeans you are wearing – super cute. And your hair is getting so long – really pretty on you. I was looking back at some of your older posts – when your hair was shorter, and I’ll have to say I think you look much younger with it a bit longer and not so “fixed”. As for your home, there will be things you miss, but I’ve moved many times in my life and while there are things I miss about each place I’ve lived, the old saying about “home is where the heart is” – that is so true. A house is a house until you put people you love in it and it becomes a home. Hugs from Knoxville!

  16. Hi Cyndi,
Love this outfit … would love the heel a little shorter on the wedge. You look very stunning in black with your auburn hair! Oh, you are making it soo hard for me LOL…. as I plan a vacation with my twin sister, we are gathering ideas of outfits to pack from you fashion blog and we love them all!!! … although this planned vaca isn’t till next May of 2017 (for both our 30th anniversary’s) our hubby’s think it wise for us to start planning now… we may run out of room in the vehicle for all our luggage! LOL and of course from this Spring 27 fashion show to next Spring’s show you will put on… I will definitely have to mark my very favorite outfits to take…so not to take up all the room with clothes carry-ons.

  17. I totally understand your sentiments about pictures. We have no plans to move but just thinking about if we ever do brings on the tears. I love our house so much and we’ve put so much into it. It’s our first house, the home we brought both our kids home to and it makes me teary eyed thinking of all the memories we would leave behind if we ever moved. I’m SOOOO sentimental!!

I guess I’m probably not help, huh? Sorry.

The outfit is great! Easy style to replicate. Looks well put together without a lot of effort and fuss–just what I like!

  18. I love this outfit. I have issues with my knees, so I don’t wear heels often. However, these wedges look so comfy, I’m going to give them a try. They’re also adorable. I love your whole look.

It is hard to leave a home. My husband and I moved to a new city three years ago. It was so difficult to leave our home. But we are happy in our new location, and our new home.
    Blessings to you.

  19. I love your blog and, for once, I purchased something before I saw it on your blog! I purchased these in the tan color and can’t wait to wear them this summer. They are more comfortable than I thought they’d be.

  20. I love your outfit today! The wedges are super cute. I forget to go in Payless-I must plan a trip soon.

    Thanks for sharing!

  21. Love this outfit and you are adorable! Already purchased the shoes and the top – thanks! My closet is starting to be a clone of yours!!!

  22. Gorgeous outfit as always!! and yes.. Payless does have some “Sweet” shoes!!! I’m glad you mentioned your photo scenes… I love the ones where it looks like you are in the country…. with the fence behind you!! Very pretty backdrop for pictures!!!

  23. Good morning,
Very cute outfit. I love Payless shoes. I get them not only for me but my family. You cant beat the price and the deals they have.
Cant wait for more work outfits.
    Have a blessed day!

  24. Cyndi, this outfit is just up my alley. Don’t have black top like that though….otherwise I probably would have worn that today. ha. xx-S
