22 Days of Summer Fashion-Striped Floral Top

Welcome to Day 21 (how did that happen?) of my 22 days of summer fashion! What is better than a striped top and a floral top? It’s of course, a striped floral top. Ha!

When I saw this top at Macy’s, I knew I was going to buy it. The color is gorgeous and it definitely says summer. Bonus, it’s on sale!

I wore this outfit yesterday on a lunch date with two ladies who follow my blog, Deanna and Pam. They live about 2 hours from me and drove to Lexington to meet me. I was so blessed to get to talk with them, they are precious!!

I know I have shared this handbag several times but it has been such a great handbag for summer. Some of you will remember I splurged on these wedge heels. I absolutely love them and now they are 25% off. They are still pricey but I wish I could have gotten the sale price.

Let’s talk hair, I get lots of questions about my hair. I’m going to try and get a post up about how I style it, what I’m using, and so on. 🙂

I added my tassel earrings from BaublebarBaublebar has 25% off earrings when you buy 2 or more. My earrings are not included in the sale because they are BB essential earrings but they have lots of cute earrings that are included. Check them out here but hurry I think the sale ends tonight!

Beauty for the Heart~~The sun was setting when we took these pictures by this pond. The view was breathtaking! I’m always in awe of the beauty God creates in nature.

Psalm 96:11-12 says, Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.

Take a moment today and enjoy the beauty that God has created!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi- as a past Curves Manager/trainer up to 2014, I can tell you that it takes a very strong back to do a burpee let alone multiple burpees. Even someone young who isn’t already physically fit could injury themselves. There are other hiit moves you can do that are much safer…I wouldn’t be surprised to see them dissappear from most training repetoires…just my opinion!

  2. I Love white, so fresh & clean look. I also look darker then I really am ha ! My hair is around the same length of your’s with long layers. Do you wear your hair up & how ? Sending healing prayers to you! Take Care !!!

  3. I love the outfit, especially the top. You look beautiful as always. Looking forward to a new post about your great hair.

I hope your back gets better quickly. I hurt my back doing burpees a couple of years ago (I will be 46 next week). I now only do modified burpees, slowly and one leg at a time. Seems like I have to modify more and more things as I get older!

Your Beauty for the Heart really resonated with me today. I’m with my family on vacation in Hawaii and the beauty of this place really does cry out His name. God is awesome!

  4. Cyndi,

I was having such a bad day and just taking pause, reading your blog and scripture passage and seeing you in such bright and cheerful colors has lifted my spirits. Thank you! I read your emails and blog every day. I admire your modest style and grace. Thank you for sharing your spirit, fashion sense and faith with us all. I am deeply grateful!

  5. We want to thank you so much for meeting us for lunch yesterday. We had such a wonderful time! We look forward to hearing all about Cuba and we will lift you and your mission team up in prayer. God will be glorified. Have a great holiday and get plenty of rest today. Blessings to you and your family.

  6. HappyJuly 4. While it does not thrill me when our folks go do someplace so hostile as Cuba, I have to admit to being hopeful for what our Savior will be doing through you and your group while you are there. Will be looking forward to your updates on that. Is your church doing this solo or co-ordinating with others ?

  7. Love the top! Wish it wasn’t sleeveless. 🙁

But looks great on you! Stripes and floral – who’da thunk it? Lol. Looks amazimg.

I wish everyone a wonderful 4th. So thankful for all our freedoms.

    God bless…

  8. I love that Psalm passage – thank you for sharing it! It made me pause and reflect on God’s beauty and grace that He has blessed me with in my surroundings. I love the greenery and hearing bird song in the summer. He is sooooo good to us.

  9. Thank you for a wonderful lunch. It was the highlight of our week. You are truly a woman of God and we are appreciative of you taking time out of your day to have lunch with us. Thank you for sharing my blog as well! Your outfit is just beautiful! Love the MK bag! Rest your back! We are having a gathering at our home on July 3rd with fireworks and the whole bit! What a wonderful time of year to relax and celebrate family, friends, faith, freedom and fireworks!!

  10. You always look adorable. Read your blog everyday. You mentioned hair styling info Would love a new hair style tutorial with the longer layered cut. Your hairstyles are the ones I always take to the salon but somehow it just never looks as good as yours. Would love your help.
