A Transistional Blouse For Fall

It’s Day 23 of my 26 Days of Fall Fashion! Today I’m styling a transitional blouse for fall. This twist front blouse is perfect for a mild fall day.

You can wear this blouse so many ways, when the weather is colder, you can add a cardigan. The blouse is from Nordstrom and comes in several different colors.

A Transistional Blouse For FallI love the front of this transitional blouse because it’s shorter and doesn’t need to be tucked in, but the back is long.

A Transistional Blouse For FallA Transistional Blouse For FallLace up flats are popular this fall. I added lace up flats to my fall workwear challenge and several of the ladies have been surprised at how much they liked them and all the compliments they have received. It’s a fun trend to add to your fall wardrobe!

A Transistional Blouse For FallMy saddlebag is Sole Society brand. I love the Sole Society brand and Nordstrom has a large selection of their handbags.

A Transistional Blouse For FallI don’t live close to a Nordstrom so I order from them since they make it easy to order with free shipping and free return shipping.

Beauty For the Heart~~Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Hebrews 13:2

Hospitality doesn’t mean we just invite people we know into our homes but also strangers.

I think of my Mom when I think of this. She was always helping someone and it was usually someone none of us knew. I loved that about her. She wanted to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi,
I love your posts and look forward to seeing what you styled each day. Plus your inspiring words are a real blessing.
I do love your fall table Where did you get your cute runner? It would look great in my kitchen.
    Thanks Cyndi!

  2. Cyndi, Your table looks very nice and inviting. I really like the wine color on you. I can’t wait to share a wine colored top I ordered from Kohls. Even a smile and saying Hello to a stranger can do wonders for them, and us.

    God bless!

  3. You made my day! I ordered that blouse a few days ago…maybe your good taste is rubbing off on me! Thank you for showing me how good it looks with blue jeans and gold jewelry. I also loved your table — although I don’t think I can get cotton here in Boston (sigh).

  4. Hi Cyndi:
I have enjoyed your blog for over a year now! So many times, I have thought to write you; we have so many shared stories… I’m married to a pastor, have been divorced, I’m a southern girl from NC, although we’ve just moved back home from being in WI for 14 years, similar in height, weight, coloring of skin and hair, in the middle of a home remodeling project, lost my mother about the same time as you, have one granddaughter whom I am over the moon about, love your taste in clothes. I could go on and on. In fact, most of the time, if I love the way it looks on you ( and most of the time, I do), I know I’ll like it too. For some reason, recently some of the blogs have not been in my inbox but when I google it, I usually find it. I never did get to see the table decorations mentioned today though 🙁

Anyway, we are so blessed by your ministry. I hope to stay connected for a very long time.

    Love, Sally

  5. Love the color and style of you top. Shoes look very nice also. I’m with Pam would like to see more ideas on your house. What a pretty day thank you so much for sharing. 😊

  6. So cute. I will be heading to a Nordstrom next week while in Las Vegas. Maybe I will get a chance to try that particular blouse on while I am there.

PS. The fall touches look great. I have already added a few to my home too. I’m sure there will be more to come.

    Happy Wednesday!

  7. Wow – that blouse is great! The price point in CDN dollars is pretty good too. Thanks Cyndi! I also really like the lace up flats, they add a great pop to the outfit.
    Enjoy your day!

  8. For some reason I didn’t get your email this morning. I’m missing something by the comments because I didn’t see any fall table decor :). FOMO! ❤️

  9. I have always loved this color, and it is a staple in my closet for fall and winter. When I wear this color I always get compliments :), which is nice. I like the cut of the blouse, very flattering, even for those who are, shall I say, busty…
Your table is beautiful! I pulled out my fall things over the weekend, and my husband laughed when he started counting the pumpkins…and laughed even more when I asked if he’d looked at the front porch. Fall is such a fun and beautiful time of year, and yes, my home is feeling extra cozy right now. I think our mothers would have been great friends here, whenever you speak of your momma it’s like you’re talking about mine. Maybe they’re being hospitable in heaven together :-).

  10. Dont care for the super skinny jeans..i found a pair of great and comfy boyfriend jeans by liz claiborne at jc penny and the price cant be beat dont feel 100 plus jeans are very practical..shoes are cute but i myself dont care for the tie flats..but love the color of the blouse..keep styling…

  11. I love your table décor!! I keep my dining room table and kitchen table set and decorated all the time. I know people say it takes time to undo it, but in reality it takes about 1-2 minutes to move the place settings on my kitchen table for my husband and I to eat. So big deal! hahaha! It’s worth the hours of enjoyment of a set table to spend a couple minutes moving it to eat! I love those lace up leopard shoes, too! The whole ensemble today is just perfect!

    1. Actually Barbara I will wash mine on delicate. If it says dry clean I wash. Only if it says dry clean only do I take things to the dry cleaners.
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  12. Love the color this time of year. I can’t wait to see your wall gallery. I’m working on one too trying to pick up old picture frames at Peddlars malls to work with.

  13. I just love this! I have been going round and round about this top for weeks. It seems to have really mixed reviews, so I’m so happy to see you styling it. This is definitely my favorite of the colors, but I’ve added so much of it this fall, I’m torn as to whether I should try a different one.

  14. Love your table, it gets me in the fall mood. Also really liked the outfit, but the price points on the items were a bit to high. But those jeans look fantastic on you.

  15. May I ask where the table runner is from pictured in your email — I love it!

Thank you and many blessings to you ~

      1. thank you Cyndi, I was going to ask where you got the Table Runner … will u come to Indy and decorate my house. 😉

  16. I love the blouse. It looks like it be worn causually or dressed up. Your table is really nice. It is a table where one can enjoy each other.

  17. Hospitality is so important! We are often too isolated. Thank you for the reminder. I want to be like your mom! 😊❤️

  18. Love that color on you again!! I assume this is the fig…I looked at the Nordstrom link..the color does not do it justice! Thanks for the style tip…Ordering today. Love, love that color

  19. I was hoping you would post on where you purchased everything on your table arrangement! Especially the table runner
