Spring Tops-Details Make All The Difference

If you’ve been reading Grace & Beauty for very long, you know I love a cute top. I think details make all the difference! Actually I have been known to wear the same pants several days in a row and just change my tops. Yep!

J. Crew from Nordstrom has some super cute tops that I’ve enjoyed wearing this spring. I styled this periwinkle blouse during my spring series (it’s sold out, sorry!) but I love the flutter sleeves.

A few weeks ago I styled this side tie tee (say that 3 times fast!) from Nordstrom and yes it sold out in this color but it’s still available in yellow.

Today I’m styling pom pom linen tank top. In case you haven’t noticed, pom poms are everywhere so I couldn’t resist this adorable top.

A tank top and white jeans are pretty much my warm weather go-to outfit. My white jeans are also J. Crew brand from Nordstrom. They are the toothpick white jeans and I decided to order one size up and I’m glad I did.

Lastly, I’m styling this cotton poplin top with white jeans. Again, I love the detail with the ruffles.

Several of you asked about my Tory Burch flats and if they were comfortable. These are very comfortable! I wore these on my plane ride to Dallas and back home and they were perfect.

Nordstrom has a great selection of J. Crew and as always they make it easy to order with free shipping and free return shipping.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

  1. I must say the tops look so cute on you vs the Nordstrom models. I can see buying them based on how you look in them 🙂

  2. Love the pom poms/ white pants and darling shoes. Wait 10 years then you can’t find glasses, phone, teeth, ha ha, hearing aid, what? or your box of, now what was that I was looking for? Have a better rest of the week. K

  3. Thank you for remembering to tell us if the Tory Burch flats were comfortable, I may try them again and I like that these seem to have a softer sole then the ones I’ve had before. Love your heart and your posts!

  4. Thank you for sharing – here’s sending a hug to you! I hope your day today was better. Very cute tops!!

  5. Love the tops especially the tank with the Pom Poms,,, I too love the little details. I was wearing my white jeans(they are my go to as well) and sat in something while on vacation, have no idea what but could’ve cried😪. Stood up and my kids noticed purple lines all the way down the back …crazy! so went back to our condo (thinking these are done for) but took the good ole Irish spring to them and answer prayer they came completely clean. haha… realized though it was time to pick up a back up … got a pair at Jc Penney rang in at $6.99!!!!! Bonus. Now I have two pairs 🙂
Glad your having a better day today.
Ps I find my days that turn out like that are those I start without talking to God first😀

  6. Love white jeans. I wish I could wear tops with ruffles, etc., but with a larger chest, it makes me look really top heavy. Here in New England I have yet to take out my white jeans, but I can’t wait.

  7. Loving the look of pom poms! And you picked up on the black pom poms with the black shoes. Striking outfit. I’m wondering if the pom poms are comfortable–like when you sit and lean back do they poke you, or are they soft enough that you don’t notice them?

  8. Love the tee with the little balls on it! FYI, there are apps for lost phones. I use mine once in a while. I think it’s called Find My Phone. Another one is I Can’t find my phone. It’s free and saves your number so all you have to do is open the app on your tablet, PC or another phone, one click and it makes your phone ring. Of course if it’s on silent you won’t hear it but I have found mine when it’s on silent by walking around and seeing the lit up screen. By the way, I am currently having a day today like yours was yesterday, but you’ve brightened it up with your post!

  9. All of your outfits look so nice on you Cyndi! I appreciate your reminder that all of us have days that we won’t to forget and/or crawl in a hole until it’s over. So glad you did find your phone! All of us are so dependent on our phones now, that being without it is not easy. I am confident today will be much better for you.

  10. Cyndi,

Thank you, again, for being so real with us! I had the exact type of day yesterday…and it’s the worst! Praying your day is much better…remember Ephesians 3:20 🙂

I love your spring outfits and as always, you look so cute in them all!

    Wendy 🙂

  11. I chuckled when you said you put your phone on the garbage can and couldn’t find it. Sunday I lost my Avia step tracker (like a Fit Bit) and it has a bright pink band. I looked everywhere for it and was so mad I wasn’t getting credit for my steps yesterday! I went on a walk last night and prayed so hard that I could find that silly step tracker – that was by the way free from my daughter who won it at a give away. Why was I so fixated on that silly step tracker!! Well I found it last evening…. in my walk in closet in the basement!! Sunday I cleaned out my bedroom closet and switched out my winter items for summer items. I keep items in a big plastic tote that I use to store the out of season wear. I had taken it to my basement walk in closet for storage and apparently had taken off the step tracker and laid it on the tote. WHY? No idea. But I did smile when I found it after retracking my steps from Sunday and realized God even cares about the small things – like finding a bright pink, free step tracker!!

  12. At least you weren’t walking around talking on it and looking for it…not that that’s ever happened to me😉. Of course when you can’t find it is usually at a time when you’ve turned the ringer off too…go figure…LOL The poplin ruffle top is just precious! Have a much better day!!! XO

  13. I agree about white jeans. Once you find a pair that fits and you like, you can wear them all summer (and fall and winter!). I love the light blue top because it has the flouncy sleeves but still looks casual. It’s like a dressed up Tshirt. Still loving your photography too!

  14. I agree with the pants comment – I have one pair of white jeans that I love and they have become my spring/summer weekend go-to pants. I just wear a different top and shoes and none’s the wiser :).
