31 Days of Winter Fashion-Day 20

It’s Day 20 of my 31 Days of Winter Fashion and I’m styling my camo pants.

Last fall, I wore my camo pants with my open toed heels. I love this outfit but since the weather is colder, I wanted to add some winter accessories.

For winter fashion, I added a black scarf and my tan booties.

The temperature is mild for January so I won’t even add a coat today.

Of all my winter shoes, I get the most compliments on these wedge heels from Rack Room shoes. Every time I wear them, someone stops me and asks where I bought them.

I love a boyfriend cardigan, don’t you? They’re so comfortable and I love the length.

My camo pants were quite the hot topic last fall. Some women love them and some don’t. But I think they’re fun to wear and to style!

Have you styled any camo pants?

Beauty For the Heart~~Ephesians 3:17-19 (NLT) is a great reminder of how much God loves us.

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

You are loved!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I have been wondering about wearing socks with the bootie type shoes/boots. This is the first picture that I could actually see your ankle and tell that you weren’t wearing a sock. In the cold weather it seems strange to wear a boot without some sort of sock.

    1. Hey Phyllis,
I have “no shoe” socks on. You can find them at lot’s of department stores. Some are warmer than others.
      Hope that helps!

  2. I love this outfit!! I just recently found your blog and really enjoy it. Thanks for sharing your faith and fashion sense with us.

  3. Hi Cyndi – you look adorable as usual. Not sure I could pull it off and look as nice though. I does give me something to think about though. Love your blog and can’t wait to get my email daily.

  4. Hi Cyndi, I absolutely adore the black wedges in the first picture. Can you tell me what brand they are? I can’t find them in the Rack Room Shoes site so I’d like to search by brand name. I love your blog and the daily fashion posts–I look forward to them

    1. The brand is Lime Light. I’m not sure who else carries them but I knew they didn’t have them online at Rack Room.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Hi Cyndi! Great outfit – I have similar pants from the GAP outlet. Is there any way you can put dates on your posts? When I go back and look at older posts, I can’t see when they are from. Thanks!

  6. Hi Cyndi.”

I love the camo pants and wedge booties. For me, I don’t like boyfriend cardigans with this type of pant. I like to keep them more “edgy”, but that’s just me and my style. My body type looks much better in all things fitted. I like boxy things too, but they tend to make me look heavier. You always look good in the outfits you style.

Keep us posted on Bennett. Praying for her and her family.

    Thanks for sharing.

  7. Cyndi,
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. I look forward to your outfits. I’ve never had a great sense of how to put my clothes together, even though I’m way too skilled at buying them, ha! I did the Build Your Wardrobe Basics challenge back in the fall and loved it. I’ve been following you ever since. Thanks for helping this 46 year old dress stylishly and appropriately.

  8. What q beautiful scripture quote. Thank you. I needed to hear that today. This is not the first time God has worked through you to lift me up.

  9. Love both seasons…just might need to find a pair! I love boyfriend cardigans! I really enjoy you Beauty from the Heart, look forward to your blog everyday! Thank you for sharing from your heart Cyndi! Enjoying mild temps in NE Tennessee too…wish it would last! Have a Blessed Day!

  10. Hi Cyndi! I enjoy reading your posts and how you lovingly remind your readers that beauty comes from within us. You inspired me to wear camo pants last week. I purchased mine at TJ Maxx and styled them with a beige-ish tan scarf, white cotton button up, tan booties, and denim jacket. I wore this on our “casual” Friday and received so many compliments – and a few looks. I am a social worker for schools and even some of the kids complimented my outfit. Thanks so much for helping women feel beautiful and reminding us we are beautiful in God’s eyes!

  11. Love it! I am so glad you posted the camo pants! I have been looking for them, and just found a pair on a 70% off rack at Target! Whoo Hoo! Can’t wait to wear them tomorrow!
Quick question…I noticed sometimes you cuff your pants with booties and other times don’t. I have found conflicting thoughts on Pinterest/Blogs concerning this. Thoughts?!
    Thank you!

    1. Sally, what a steal of a bargain you got with those pants being 70% OFF! As for cuffing pants – it just depends on the shoe and length of pant — I say a cuff is cute when the pant leg is a little bit longer. Maybe a good “rule of thumb” would be to make sure there’s no more than about an inch of skin showing on your ankle between the pant and shoe during the winter months.
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  12. You look adorable as always! Boyfriend cardigans aren’t my favorite. I think I prefer a drapey front cardigan when I want something big and cozy. I went ahead and purchased the wrap cardigan from Nordstrom that you styled last week and I LOVE it. I got the icy blue color and it’s beautiful!

  13. Your outfit looks great! We don’t see many women in camo pants in my neck of the woods, but if I wore them, I would do as you have done! 🙂

  14. I am a true believer that you can be just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. You are a true example of this!! Love your fashion and scriptures. Just completed the Bible study Focus15 and loved it. Looking forward to following you along on your blogging journey. God Bless!!!

  15. First let me say love the outfit. I saw this on you back in the fall and had to get me some camo pants as well. The first time I wore them I got so many complements. They are one of my favorites. I’m fairly new to your blog, but love, love, love it. Can’t wait for spring and summer. I love reading your scriptures. Have a bless day and may God bless you.
