Beauty For the Heart~~Your grace still amazes me. Your love is still a mystery. Each day I fall on my knees. Your grace still amazes me. -Phillips, Craig, and Dean

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Have a blessed day!

  1. Wow, wow, wow! MOVE OVER HADID SISTERS! Cyndi has arrived! You couldn’t look prettier than here Cyndi! Fabulous!

  2. Are you cutting your hair differently? I know you mentioned you changed the part, but it also looks more layered…or maybe you’re curling it differently. It looks beautiful!

  3. Congratulations!! That’s such wonderful news! Your family has so much to celebrate this Thanksgiving.

Please share the color you have on your toes. I noticed when I zoomed in on the beautiful shoes. I love the outfit! I ordered the kimono, and I’m about to order the purse in ruby. I plan to wear black shoes, so I’m adding my pop of color with the crossbody bag.

    Happy holidays!

    Blessings,
    <Dorian

  10. Love how you have touches of velvet throughout the outfit, but it’s not overwhelming VELVET. Just beautiful. And…..YAY, BABY!!!!!!!

  11. You look exquisite in this outfit!! Congratulations on the news of a new grandchild! I’m sure you’re all over the moon with happiness. I hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving.

  12. Congratulations on the new grandbaby!!! We are expecting one in March but also received the sad news last week that our other DIL miscarried; it would have been due in June. Happiness and sorrow are both part of life. You are looking so young in pictures these days! For a second I thought that was Courtney modeling today’s outfit.

  13. Oh what wonderful news for your entire family!!!! Congratulations to the expecting parents and big brother. Love the color combos in today’s outfit. As nice as it is it may not be practical for my outings around the holidays. I hope you and your family have a wonderful thanksgiving. Thanks for the bfth , We have been blessed in many ways. I can’t help but remember the chorus we used to sing in Sunday School as a kid. Count your blessings name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done. Count your blessings, name them one by one, Count your many blessings see what God has done.
    Blessings
    Karen.

    1. I think of that song a lot. Many times it’s the ones I grew up with that I find myself singing out loud. 🙂 thanks for sharing.

  19. I’m so excited for you. A new grand baby to come. Thanks Cyndi for being real and sharing all your joys and sorrows with us. I too have had a very difficult 2017 health wise with myself and in my family. Its been so hard to focus on my blessings and get ready to celebrate that this Thanksgiving. I feel like I have to give myself a pep talk each morning. I know God is still there and HE deserves the praise and thanksgiving from me and my family. Are you hosting this year for your family? I am and so some added stress, but excited to see all my kids and have them all together in my home. I’m looking forward to grand kids someday too. Just was talking to my friend who lost her son….21 yrs. old and she’s trying to get herself to even want to celebrate the holidays. Please pray for her and her family. Have a great Thanksgiving to you and all who follow your blog. You truly are a blessing to us all.

    1. Sometimes you have to take a year, or two, to regroup. Especially after the loss of a child. Its ok, there is not a timeline one must adhere to.

      1. Yes….I think you are right. She just doesn’t want to celebrate anything this year without her sweet son. 🙁 Thanks for sharing and being concerned. I’m trying to support her the best I know how. So hard. My son is the same age and they were childhood friends.

  20. Congrats on the new grandbaby….we’re going to be first time grandparents in April and can’t wait. Love the outfit but REALLY REALLY LOVE your hair – how’d ya do the curls?

  21. Wonderful news of a new baby on the way! Congratulations to all of you! The outfit is simply stunning! Happy Thanksgiving! Counting my blessings always!

  22. Thank you for the reminder to count our blessings…there are indeed so many! Thank you for your inspiration, for your fashion tips, and for sharing your life with others. AND, So excited for your sweet daughter and her family. How wonderful to welcome a new little one into the family. Wishing you many blessings!

  23. LOVE this gorgeous outfit… you look stunning! CONGRATS on the new addition to your beautiful family!! Abundant blessings!
I listened to a short clip of Beth Moore this morning, here is a quote from it that stood out to me for this holiday season… “We can miss somebody so much that we miss the people right in front of us. In the name of Jesus and the help of the Spirit, do not miss those whom you have because of those whom you miss.”

    Blessings…

    1. Thanks Joni for sharing the Beth Moore quote. I love her and have done all her bible studies and this was perfect to read. I just was talking to my friend who lost her 21 yr. old son this last May and is traveling today to her daughter and family but having a hard time thinking of Thanksgiving without him. She’s struggling. Please keep her in your prayers and thank you for the quote.

      1. Oh yes indeed- my best friend from when we lived in KS lost her 24 year old son one year ago today… it will be something to struggle with from now on in a lot of ways. Grief has no rules! And I have a son in prison and that’s it’s own kind of grief. This quote spoke volumes to me so I knew it would be for someone else! Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    2. Where do go to listen to Beth Moore? Her site, YouTube? I used to do her Bible studies, and would enjoy being able to listen to her again. So glad I heard her name mentioned!
      Thanks,
      Dorian

      1. Hi! I would say YouTube if you’re not in a study that’s playing the DVD teaching… you can find lots of clips there!
As far as I know they probably won’t have complete videos of her teaching since Lifeway has the ‘market ‘ for her stuff and they have to sell it…

  24. That is great news. I’m sure Colt Allen will the perfect big brother. And, you get to be a grandmother again of a sweet baby. I’m so happy for you and yours.
You have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

  25. Very Exquisite and Classy Cyndi !!!! Congratulations on your precious new arrival for 2018. Happy Thanksgiving and Enjoy your weekend. ~Lisa~

  26. WOW! first, congratulations on the new addition – how exciting!!!!
Secondly, that outfit is so so pretty!! That wrap is fantastic – the colors, wow! I know you said in your email that 2017 has been a challenge but looking at you here it does not show…not one bit. Of course that is the benefit of social media – we can project what we want the world to see. Praying the holiday season and the new year brings (more) good things to you!
Thank you for the reminder of grace. It’s so easy to get distracted and focus on things we shouldn’t.

  27. Congratulations ! So happy for you and your family! I am also counting my many blessings and naming them one by one! Happy Thanksgiving to you Cyndi!

  28. You are just stunning in this outfit!!! I don’t know if you are doing something different in your life, but you are just glowing! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

  29. Oh, my gosh! You look amazing! Love everything!
Congratulations, Cyndi! Babies are a gift from God! Give your daughter and Colton a hug from me! Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃🍽 Eve! 🤗

  30. Congratulations to your daughter and the family on the upcoming new addition!
Those shoes are gorgeous! Have a great Thanksgiving!

  31. Cute outfit Cyndi, you always look so nice in the outfits you put together. Congratulations on your new addition to the family coming in 2018. You are truly blessed. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

  32. Ooooo Cyndi, I really like this outfit. I would love to get a kimono but I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of one. All of the accessories you chose work perfectly. Did you find the arms on that sweater to run a little snug? I tried it on a thought it was super cute but just wasn’t sure about the upper arm (maybe it’s just all my FTWFL muscles😉) Happy Thanksgiving Eve. XO
