Spring weather has left the Bluegrass, and it’s hard to imagine wearing spring clothes. When the weather finally warms up, I’ll pull out this navy sweater and white jeans. This sweater is perfect for early spring!
Last spring this bamboo clutch made its appearance, and it’s still trending. Thankfully, the price point is better this year. I do have a few items in my clutch, so it is functional. I plan on taking this clutch on our Caribean cruise; we leave a week from tomorrow.
Mules are also trending, and these Madewell mules are easy to incorporate into your wardrobe from workweek to weekend.
My navy sweater is from Old Navy and is on sale. It also comes in a light tan color.
I’m ready for spring weather; this cold stuff is killing me!

I remember having an identical clutch back in the 70s! I’m dying that they’re trending right now! (Oops, I just aged myself!)
I’m not a big fan of the mule trend but those are gorgeous. I love the color and the heel height. And they look amazing with navy and white. 💖

I’m so glad the old “rule” of when to wear white has gone away! One of my favorite outfits looks similar to the one you are wearing, but with black booties for my cold toes. What fun planning for a baby and a cruise!!

Well Cyndi you’re going to laugh … I was in the line up at Old Navy (here in Canada) when I read your post. I hadn’t seen the sweater in the store so I left the line up and took another walk around and found it.. I would have never thought to try it on looking at it on the hanger, but after seeing it on you I did and guess what I bought it. I will wear with my white Jeans which I’m a big fan of. I also bought I hooded sweat shirt that say Saturyay lol. Then went to Marshalls and found a beautiful Luck Brand blouse in the softest material and softest blue color with beige embroidery down the front and sleeves (which also have a tie at the end of them) Sooo cute. What a day of deals. Now we just need the weather. We aren’t taking our trip until May this year to Florida. Can’t wait one of my favorite places. Now to end go and enjoy your cruise.. As much as I look forward to your blog daily you need a break and we will survive. We are self employed and I know what it’s like to take work on vacation lol so please don’t.

Navy and white are always a favorite of mine in the spring. There’s just something crisp, clean, fresh looking about that combination. I like the mules too! I remember having a similar pair in the 90’s :), funny how things come back around.
