Happy Friday ladies! Today I’ve got a casual date night outfit to share with you from Nordstrom. When the days get shorter, and the temperatures start to drop, we like to head to the movie theatre (if we can find a decent movie).
I love to grab a sweater that will keep me warm, and this Halogen sweater is a great option. It has a drapey turtleneck, and slouchy dropped shoulders. It also comes in several different colors; I’m wearing the red tannin color.
Nordstrom has a large selection of cozy sweaters and cardigans. Here a few of my favorites.
A casual sweater goes perfectly with a good pair of jeans. I’m wearing Paige jeans, which is a designer denim and one of my favorite brands. They are on sale, but if you are looking for a less expensive option try these BLANKNYC jeans, they’re also on sale.
These Vince Camuto booties are my go-to booties right now. I’m wearing the french taupe suede color. If you like a lower heel, this is a good option.
My Rebecca Minkoff handbag has a touch of leopard print (I have the bag turned the wrong way!). It pairs great with so many of my fall outfits.
This Halogen sweater is long enough that I could style it with a pair of black leggings and a flat boot.
While I don’t love cold weather, I do love a cozy sweater; it definitely makes the cold weather bearable!

Love the outfit. Nothing like a cozy sweater…. Although if our temps keep staying in the high 80’s to 90’s I’m not sure when we will be wearing them unless underneath a winter coat…Oh well perhaps this means a shorter winter for us which is usually long. We have had exceptionally hot and humid weather since June. No rain coming until mid next week from Florence… We can use the rain though very dry.. Do you have other recommendations for the purse? since this one is sold out…Thanks

This is a great look and it just looks like a cozy soft sweater which I love for cool fall evenings here in Colorado. I love the wine color you are styling and if I purchase would love that color.
We also attend our grandchildren’s grandparents day at school and it is such a joy to see where they spend their days, meet their teachers and friends. Lucky you to be close to grandson to attend these special times.

Love the cozy sweater and a few others that you shared. I’m so excited to tell you that the Target floral dress you styled arrived yesterday and I love it. I thought maybe it would be too long in back since I’m petite but I ordered the small and it fix perfectly.
