Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing a green sweater from LOFT and a red plaid scarf from Old Navy that I wore to run errands. I love plaid, and especially this time of year, it feels very festive.
I don’t always wear a belt but I recently found these knock-off Gucci belts on Amazon, and I love them. I ordered one in brown and one in black. The original Gucci belt is $350, and I’m not going to lie, I would like to have one but I that price is too steep.
It is cold here in Kentucky, so I love to wear a scarf!
I’m wearing an XS in this green sweater, but it doesn’t run big like most things at LOFT. So if you’re in between sizes, I would order up. I could have worn the small too.
Green sweater (I’m wearing an XS)//Red Plaid Scarf//Brown Belt (I’m wearing a small)//Boots (TTS)//Red Coat//Black Handbag//Earrings//AG Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)
I wore this red coat from last year with this outfit. I didn’t take a picture in it because I wasn’t sure Macy’s would have it this year, but they do!! It’s a gorgeous red coat, and they have it in 6 different colors. I think I’m going to get it in black.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and, Instagram.
Beauty For The Heart~~
As I was walking down life’s
highway many years ago
I came upon a sign that read
Heavens Grocery Store.
When I got a little closer
the doors swung open wide
And when I came to myself
I was standing inside.
I saw a host of angels.
They were standing everywhere
One handed me a basket and said
“My child, shop with care.”
Everything a human needed
was in that grocery store
And what you could not carry
you could come back for more.
First I got some Patience.
Love was in that same row.
Further down was Understanding,
you need that everywhere you go.
I got a box or two of Wisdom
and Faith a bag or two.
And Charity, of course,
I would need some of that, too.
I couldn’t miss the Holy Ghost
It was all over the place.
And then some Strength and Courage
to help me run this race.
My basket was getting full but I remembered I needed Grace,
And then I chose Salvation for
Salvation was for free
I tried to get enough of that to do for you and me.
Then I started to the counter
to pay my grocery bill,
For I thought I had everything
to do the Masters will.
As I went up the aisle I saw
Prayer and put that in,
For I knew when I stepped outside
I would run into sin.
Peace and Joy were plentiful,
the last things on the shelf.
Song and Praise were hanging near
so I just helped myself.
Then I said to the angel
“How much do I owe?”
He smiled and said
“Just take them everywhere you go.”
Again I asked “Really now,
how much do I owe?”
“My child,” he said,
“God paid your bill a long, long time ago.”
Have a blessed day!

Love this festive outfit! I was able to finally get that scarf just now, yay! It sold out on me several times over the last month.
The sweater is so pretty! Love the outfit!!
I love that poem! I continue to pray for you & Wayne. Trying times in your family right now but your faith is solid Cyndi and that’s such a blessing. I pray your Step-Mom’s surgery was successful and she’ll have a speedy recovery. Hugs to you. ❤️
Haven’t been achieving your daily emails in the last three days-anyone else having trouble?
Thanks!
Hi Daphne, I checked and it looks like you’re getting them again. Sometimes they go to your spam folder. I don’t know why.
Pretty outfit! If you think of it when you share a coat, could you indicate whether it’s light, mid, or heavyweight for warmth? I think it would be helpful both for those in milder and colder parts of the country. I’m surprised many store websites don’t indicate this.
I hope your Stepmom did well!
That’s a good idea. I would say this coat is a mid weight.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful poem, brought tears to my eyes. God has gave his all for us! Praying surgery & recovery goes well for your Stepmom. Love your outfit, perfect for this time of year!
Love the poem! I needed to see that. These past months have been hard for you. Im praying God will give you what need in this time. Love the outfit.
Could you tell me what size your red coat is? The poem is beautiful – thanks for sharing with us. Hope all goes well with your stepmom.
I’m wearing a small in the red coat.

Love the outfit, but the beauty for the heart was absolutely lovely and a beautiful reminder.
I love that poem so much, thanks for sharing.💕
Is the belt available? The link says it’s not. Any other sources?
I love this casual but festive outfit for this time of year. The sweater color is no longer available in petite 😟 and something went wrong with the Amazon belt as it is saying Do Not Order? But I didn’t even know there was a knock off you could buy in this belt. I think it makes the outfit! Thanks for sharing and hope all goes well for your stepmom.
That plaid scarf is beautiful, I wore a bright red scarf on Sunday and it just lifted my mood. Felt festive! The poem brought tears to my eyes, reminded me of what our Lord has done for us.
Love the poem you posted. I need a red plaid scarf after seeing your post.

The styling tips are nice…but that poem at the end – oh.my.goodness! What a blessing for my day. Thanks!
Being married to a Scotsman I can wear tartan and feel proud of our family heritage. Love the warmth of the bright colours – red is a favourite of mine
