Happy Saturday! We have a busy day today but the sun is shining, and it’s spring in Kentucky! It’s also March Madness, and UK plays this afternoon, so basically, our whole state (well almost) will be watching basketball.
Today I’ve got a spring weekend outfit that I’ll wear to run errands or to go to one of Colt’s spring baseball games. It’s comfortable and, of course, since the top is white, it screams spring!
I paired it with my Madewell boyfriend jeans. These slim boyfriend fit jeans have a higher rise, slight distressing and a cool raw-hem. They run big, so I sized down 2 sizes from my normal Madewell size.
The sleeves on my white top have an embroidered rainbow stripe detail.
This spring I purchased these UGG sneakers, and I really like them with my casual outfits. They run small so order 1/2 size up.

Beauty For The Heart~~Spring is a time of warming weather and nature coming back to life. Flowers bloom, grass turns green, and we are reminded of the beauty that exists in this world.
As Christians, we are given new life and new mercies every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Spring reminds us that we should live knowing we have new mercies and to leave the old dead parts behind us.
We have hope in the coldest and darkest winters because spring comes and brings all the beauty of new life!

I also love when you refer to “Sunday School.” So many churches, (like my own) don’t call it that anymore. They call it Life Groups. So, thank you for letting me see that Sunday Schools do exist still. 🙂

Love your outfit. That’s the way I dress 95% of the time. Except when I go to church or bible study. But I do enjoy dressing up every once in awhile. I have been following you for a few years now and love your heart for our Savior Jesus Christ as well as how you set such a wonderful example of how we should treat our bodies as “temples” by feeding them nourishing food and taking care of of them physically as well as spiritually.
Just found out another woman in my bible study group also follows you. She had one of the cute round basket purses you have styled over the years and I commented on it and how my favorite blogger Cyndi Spivey styles one on her blog. That’s where she said she had seen it as well. We both laughed and said how much we loved and enjoyed you. Take care and keep doing the Lord’s work.

Love this outfit! I’ve read your blog for years and never posted but thought I would today. I live in Abilene, Texas – home of the Abilene Christian Wildcats that played your Wildcats on Thursday night. Our first time to March Madness. Great game! Even though we were out played it was fun to watch and a wild ride to get there!! Good luck to your Wildcats!!
