BEAUTYCOUNTER PRODUCTS TO GRAB ON SALE

Happy Tuesday, friends! I don’t know if you follow me on Instagram, but I pop in all the time on Instastories and share a little behind the scenes of my everyday life.

That being said, I get a lot of messages, and I keep getting asked the same questions. What makeup are you using?? What skincare do you use?

Well, remember the new year? That already seems like forever ago!! One of the things I decided to do for the new year is to use even better products on my face. Since I use these products every day, I want them to be good for me.

Did you know that a regulation has not been passed in the personal care industry since 1938?! That is 80 years! And ladies the amount of chemicals in some of the products that we use daily is shocking.

I am striving to move to products that are safer ones, especially the things I use daily. I have tried A LOT of products over the years that were better for me but to be honest; I didn’t like them. Until now!

I’m excited to share Beautycounter with you! And the best part is they are having a 15% off friends and family sale that starts today!

There are a few products that I haven’t changed, and one of those is my concealer. I still use Tarte Tape Shape because Beauty Counter’s concealer doesn’t cover my dark circles. I’m also not crazy about their mascara, so I still use IT Cosmetics Volumizing Mascara.

There are a lot of products that I LOVE. Here are some of my favorites.

OVERNIGHT RESURFACING PEEL

This peel is a game changer. Do you have dry, dull skin? Spots and other issues? This peel is the best!  You put it on before you head to bed and it helps to bring your dull skin back to life and gives you that awesome glow that we all strive for. You will feel this peel when you put it on! I use this 3 to 4 times a week.

This peel is a most loved item and one to purchase at 15% off.

NO.1 BRIGHTENING FACIAL OIL

I’m a huge fan of using vitamin C on my face, and this stuff is soooo good! I use it every morning under my serum and moisturizer.

No. 3 BALANCING FACE MASK

So much of how good our skin is going to look is done before we ever put makeup on. This facial mask is amazing. I use it 2 to 3 times a week to deep-clean. It absorbs excess oil and draws out impurities. Activated charcoal minimizes the appearance of pores, giving skin a smooth, refined appearance, while salicylic acid stimulates exfoliation.

BLUSH

I am obsessed with Beautycounter blushes. They are long lasting, and they have some pretty colors. My favorites include Guava and Nectar.

SUNSCREEN

Sunscreens are a must for summer and Beauty Counter has mineral sunscreens that don’t turn you into a ghost after applying like some safer sunscreens can make you look.

This is a perfect time to stock up for spring and summer while these items are on sale for 15% off!

More products I use:

I don’t have sensitive skin, but my daughter has very sensitive acne-prone skin. She is using the Countercontrol Regimen and loves it! So many skin care products hurt her eyes, and none of these products have bothered her. We are thrilled!

FULL DISCLOSURE: While I want to use good products daily, but I also get Botox every four months, and I use Retin A (this is by prescription from Prive Me Spa) on the nights I don’t use the overnight resurfacing peel. Retin A encourages cell turnover and collagen production, softens fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~“I want the promised blessing of Psalm 40:4, “blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust.”

I forget this kind of trusting in God is often forged in the crucible of longsuffering. God isn’t picking on me. God is picking me to personally live out one of His promises.

It’s a high honor. But it doesn’t always feel that way. I’ve got to walk through the low places of the process before I’m perfectly equipped to live the promise. ~ Lysa Terkeurst

Have a blessed day!

  1. Did I miss the shade of foundation you are wearing in this line? I always have that trouble when switching up. Is there a shade you recommend for light to medium skin in this new line?

  2. Great post! I too love Beautycounter products. I’ve been meaning to try the overnight peel. Glad to know you like it.

I have a question about Retin A. I stopped using it because I learned that it can mimic estrogen in the body and through off hormones. Any thoughts?

  3. Hi, Cyndi! I had heard of those products too. I kind of wanted to use the makeup up since I am running out of stuff; however, my question is if you have stopped using Colleen Rothschild’s products? Thank you! I love the BFTH.

  4. Loved hearing about BC was just getting ready to try some of their products. I would also like to know if you have any suggestions on good products for hot flashes and poor sleeping (it’s that time in life) Love your blog.

  5. Hi Cindy,

Have you replaced your Colleen Rothschild skin regimen with Beauty Counter? I just transitioned to CR and am now wondering if I should have gone with Beauty Counter. So many choices 🙂

  6. I have been following you for about a year now and was so excited today when you mentioned Beauty Counter!! They are my new favorite products and I am soon to be 58 and get compliments all the time on my skin. My Daughter is now a consultant with the company! I use all the same products you mentioned. Thank you for your honesty and your love for the Lord makes you an even greater inspiration!!

  7. I have been trying some beauty products to help with those lines ( laugh lines mainly)and neck area, that we seem to notice more as we age. I never thought about any of these until I turned 50. I’m always leaning towards the safer ones and mineral based. Thanks for showing these options:)

  8. Too spendy for me, even if it is good. I use argan oil and other essential oils as my skin care regimen and they work better than anything out there, and they don’t cost a small fortune.

    1. I totally agree with you! A jar of organic cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil is my best friend for my face and body. Essential oils are great mixed in a natural carrier oil such as coconut or emu oil. I am 48 years old and finally stopped being asked for Id just 5 years ago, as my skin is smooth and wrinkle free and they were astonished at my age. Extra virgin Coconut oil is super moisturizing from the lauric acid it naturally contains and great for hair too!

  9. There is an app called “Think Dirty” where you can look up thousands of beauty/household products to see if they are clean and safe, as well as the explanation for their rankings. I use it all the time when I run out of something and think I might need to replace it with something safer. Hope this helps!!

    1. My daughter just told me about this AP. I haven’t used it yet. I have told myself I need to get on trying to find more natural, safe beauty products soon. But, its so hard to read all the fine print on the labels and see if it contains any of the bad stuff. I can’t memorize the bad stuff list. 🙂

  10. Did I miss your Botox story? I am really interested but would like to hear your experience plus with the side effects (bruising etc).

  11. Hi Cyndi!

I appreciate this post because I want to start using some really great products on my skin. I am almost 53 and this year has taken a tool on my skin. Anyway, I was wondering about how often you have to replace the Beautycounter products? Thanks!!

  12. Hello Cyndi….I’m wondering what perfume/scent you wear? I have used Dolce Gabbana Light Blue for years and I’d like to find something new.
    Thanks!

  13. I am 48 years old and have no wrinkles. I exfoliate once every couple weeks. I use cold-pressed, virgin coconut oil on my face about 4 times a week at bedtime, and an all natural, nothing added face cream during the day and Burt’s Bee all natural makeup, that looks wonderful and natural on my skin. Also, an all natural skin cream or coconut oil is great after you shower. Be gentle on your skin ladies. Vitamin C and hydralauronic acid added in natural skin cream for wrinkles works wonders! Botox should be a last resort, but it sure does help. You look great Cindy.

      1. I never use peels, as they are too harsh on my skin. Just a simple exfoliating scrub every couple weeks made with organic, virgin coconut oil mixed with either ground coffee or sea salt, then rinse and moisturizer. Emu oil is a great moisturizer as well.

    1. LIN…what face cream that is natural do you use during the day? I really want to use natural products, but need help. Also where to you buy your Burts Bee all natural make-up? I find a lot of natural make-up contains oats and since I’m allergic to oats, don’t think I should add to my skin either, so hard to find natural too at times with my food allergies. I’m with you, botox should be last resort or not at all. I had to use for a year for bad migraines on my head and it scared me. It helped some but soon quit working, so I stopped. I don’t think we know the long lasting affects it could have on us.

  14. Have you stopped using Colleen Rothschild products? I still find they are wonderful for my skin type.
