Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing some summer fashion with Lilly Pulitzer. I love how they define their clothing. “Lilly Pulitzer is a lifestyle. A frame of mind, where the door’s always open, and the clothing’s always designed sunny side up.”
When you think of Lilly Pulitzer you think warm weather destinations, but I live in central Kentucky, and Lilly Pulitzer is popular here too. You’ll see women wearing Lilly all over our area.
It’s a classic style, and when you purchase something from Lilly Pulitzer, you know you’ll wear it for many years to come.
Today I’m styling the Lanora Stretch Shift Dress. This dress is fitted with a v-neck, and it’s bra-friendly
This shift dress has a contrasting print at the neck and waistband.
The dress has an extra 1 3/4 inches of hem flexibility. Wear as-is or let it out for some extra length. I’m wearing the dress as-is.

I like Lily Pulitzer, however it is pricey. They have really good sales on occasion, though. I mostly have bought their kids stuff, and I have to say, it is very good quality.

I have never purchased anything from this brand, but I agree that their colors are so pretty and HAPPY! Because I am one of the unlucky ones that has a lot of skin cancer, I need to look into buying a one of the tops that has the extra protection. At least I would feel feminine and pretty while protecting my skin. Have a blessed day!
Love the Lily dress on you. I own several dresses and tops. I always get compliments when I wear them. Like you said they are classic and don’t go out of style. The colors are bright and do make you happy!
I check Poshmark regularly for Lilly pcs in my size. Love the colors & prints of this brand-timeless & classy.

I love Lilly, and seeing this dress on you reminds me why! But I have to thank you especially for letting us know about the hem flexibility. I never knew that about Lilly dresses, and my one complaint about the brand is that the dresses are fairly short (not a great thing considering the look of my legs). Glad to know about this!

I love Lilly! You’re right: the Lilly pieces I have I wear for years. So while the prices are a little higher, at least the quality matches.
I’m so glad to know about the hem flexibility on this dress. My one complaint about Lilly dresses is that most of them are quite short. You’re the first person who’s ever mentioned them hems to me. . . with legs like mine, it would be nice to be able to let the hems out a bit!

I love Lily – and the dress you’re wearing is perfect – I like the fit, the colors – all of it!!! and yes, it is pricey, but the quality is never disappointing, and as you said, it lasts for years.

What a beautiful dress it looks perfect on you:) We don’t have this company in Canada and they don’t ship this way yet maybe someday 😉. Our spring started out quite nice ( we normally don’t get much of a spring anyway) then we seemed to see nothing but rain and few sunny days. Well it changed this past weekend and we have had sun and beautiful temperatures ever since. It’s not really summer until June 21 st so I’ll give it some time here until I see what our Summer will be like.? The last two summers have been very hot humid and dry so we shall see.
