Boho Look For Summer

Happy Monday, ladies! Yesterday I shared about struggling with change; it’s good to know that so many of you understand and struggle with change too. Life is all about change, and some of it is welcomed, and some of it is not. Thankfully, I serve a God that doesn’t change, and he is faithful.

Today I’m sharing an outfit I wore last week in the scorching heat. It’s a casual boho look (I like the boho look more and more these days). We are heading to Charleston, South Carolina next week for vacation and this outfit is going with me.

Boho Look For Summer

I have wanted to try a bodysuit for some time, and this one is from Amazon and comes in a bunch of colors. I also have a black one. It’s so comfortable!

My boho skirt is also from Amazon. There are several patterns, and I’m thinking about ordering another one. I really like the length, and it also has side pockets.

Ratan earrings have been my go-to earrings this summer. I’m also wearing an initial necklace from Nordstrom.

Another summer staple for me has been my Madewell sandals. I wear them all the time with dresses, skirt, and shorts. They’re on sale right now at Nordstrom.

You could easily add a denim jacket (this is my favorite one) to this outfit.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~Do you ever wonder how to find God’s will in a situation? Boy, I sure do! I am praying over some things right now and seeking His will.

Here is what I’m doing to find God’s will:

Listening – to hear His voice through His word.
Praying – I’m in a constant state of prayer over my situation.
Seeking wise counsel – I’m asking advice and guidance from friends who I know have a strong faith.

What do you do when you are seeking God’s will in your life?

Have a blessed day!

  1. Pretty skirt and beautiful colors. It’s a nice option to a dress; however like others I’m 5’3 so the skirt would be too long on me…

  2. Did you have to wear a strapless bra with the bodysuit? I have thought about trying one as well.

  3. Enjoy your getaway to Charleston. I also love Augusta, Ga – that could be a day outing if you’d like. Lots to see there & you could visit Paula Deen’s Eatery.

Loved your look today. Very summery.

  4. My husband and I visit Charleston every year. We always go to Halls on King Street for a nice meal. Hope you all have a great time and look forward to your pictures!

  5. That is a beautiful skirt Cyndi! Fabulous BFTH! I agree, that change can be very difficult, especially when are heart strings are really being pulled. I know that you and Traci are going to really miss living so close to one another. God bless both of you!

  6. Hi Cyndi! We went to Charleston in September and it was wonderful. I did a post on it with things we did and places we ate. Here’s the link in case you want to check it out. Have the best time. I know it’s so hard having your sister move to Nashville, but the good news is it isn’t that far of a drive. #glasshalffull❤️and you have a place to stay whenever you go! https://www.coasttocoast2.com/2018/10/a-weekend-in-charleston-sc.html

  7. So glad you shared this skirt! I forget about checking Amazon for fashion. I have been eyeing this skirt in the white from another site at twice the price. I grabbed it this morning. Thanks! I am newer to following your blog and really enjoy it.

  8. I love these skirts but they never fit me right! I am 5’3” and can never find one that doesn’t make me look dumpy. Need to keep looking! Yours is so cute!

      1. Elastic shorts and skirts don’t compliment most women, unfortunately, but it is a more affordable option. I would wear a cute, roomy, mid-length, tie waste top that covers the elastic, and looks much more flattering, especially if you have a bit of a tummy. Flowy skirts with a nice thick, strong waist band is a much more flattering option.

  9. BFTH- Amen! <3
    Fun/Cute skirt! Enjoy SC!
When you guys are out on the road, does your husband take your photos for the blog?

    Blessings!

  10. I hope you have fun and enjoy your vacation! I like when you post and give reviews with amazon items. For variety, it helps to have lower priced items to consider.

  11. This will be a perfect outfit for your vacation! We live just outside of Charleston and I hope you enjoy the beautiful city. It will be hot and humid, so bring your coolest outfits for sure! 🙂

  12. For some of us who are a little thicker around the middle and don’t tuck things in, what is your suggestions on the top for this skirt that is not form fitting?

  13. LOVE this outfit! I keep leaning towards easy and comfy outfits this season .. and this fits the bill 🙂

    1. This easy breezy outfit will be perfect for Charleston. We are going for first time in the Fall for our 25th wedding anniversary.
