Graphic Tee With Leather Jacket

Happy Tuesday! It’s a cold and snowy Tuesday here in Kentucky. It’s crazy how quick the weather can change! It feels more like January than November. Oh well!

Today I’m styling a graphic tee with a leather jacket (although our weather is too cold to wear this today). I get asked all the time what I wear when I’m running errands?

I’m one of those people that tries to look somewhat presentable when I run errands. It’s my personality. If you are familiar with the Enneagram, I’m a 3. Enough said.

A few months ago, I styled a faux leather jacket from JCPenney, and it’s been one of my favorite accessories to add to my outfits. You can dress this jacket up or dress it down, either way, it’s fun to add to your outfits.

Here I styled the leather jacket with snake print pants.

For a more casual look, I added the leather jacket to a graphic tee.

One of my favorite outfits to wear this fall has been graphic tees with sneakers. Evereve has some of the cutest graphic tees.

My sneakers are by Steve Madden, and I wear them all the time!

Beauty For the Heart~~Last week I attended a conference, and the theme was Resilience. There are two definitions, one is to recover quickly from difficulty, and the other is to spring back into shape; elasticity.

I have thought about that word over and over. We all face difficulties. Seasons that beat us down, that try to destroy us. But as women, we are resilient; we can recover. We can be bent and even broken, but with Christ, we can spring back into shape.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 says, We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

Whatever you are facing today, remember you are RESILIENT!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi,

This is one of my favorite looks. Definitely comfortable and chic.
Just to ask are you one that normally wears socks with sneakers, I normally don’t, but difficult to find a good pair that fits right.

    Thanks and keep it up.

    Kim

  2. North Texas girl here: this morning it was in the teens! That is unusual for us, though; it was in the 70s over the weekend. Here we just have to roll with it. Our weather changes on a dime.

  3. Love this look! Here in California it is so warm during the day that we are wearing shorts and tank tops but it gets cool at night so this is a perfect outfit for evenings! Very trendy too!

  4. I love this outfit! It looks great on you and is something I would absolutely wear. I have 2 fashion questions for you this morning…
    1. Is it still “in” to cuff your jeans or should I be shopping for a more ankle skimming style?
    2. I have a couple of lightweight vests but am not sure how to style them, when I try to wear them I feel uncomfortable and not well put-together?
As always love your posts and you encouraging thoughts. Stay warm today!

  5. It is quite chilly in Houston today as well! No snow though.
I hear what you’re saying about the grandkids; I’m so lucky to have one in this city and the other only 2 1/2 hours away. They are the joys of my life!

  6. Love the BFTH. We all need to lean on the Lord. Its important to stay resilient. It was darn cold yesterday 5F, now a more humane 30sF. Whether I like it or not, ready or not, winter is here. Safe travels to Nashville this week.

  7. I live in Abilene, Texas and it was 19 degrees this morning!! But like someone else said – wait a few minutes and the weather here will change! Love your outfit today. Cute, stylish and comfy!

  8. Cute outfit…love the leaves!! I am in very North Texas, and the temperature was 22 on my drive to work this morning!! We say to just wait 5 minutes in Texas because the weather will change that fast!

    1. Its 19 degrees this morning in North Texas! Brrr! I would love to have snow since we don’t get it often. Stay warm!

  9. Hate to tell you but it’s 31 degrees with freezing drizzle in San Antonio Tx today but we will be back in the 70’s in a few days. This is the time of year I have to keep all seasons in my closet but I do love the tee and jacket and we certainly can wear this outfit in Texas…just not today 🥶Love the pics of you in the fall leaves.

  10. This is such a FUN outfit, and your pictures are so cute!!!!
We have snow in East Tennessee this morning too – the drive in to work was beautiful.
Love BFTH today…we all need some resilience :).

  11. Love this outfit and of course I can’t resist a good graphic tee. Your pics are great especially the one with the leaves up in the air.. you’ve given me ideas for my black leather jacket if we get some more milder days.. today is heavy downpours of rain and I too have to go out to do a few errands.. but I’m mainly staying in to finish my Christmas decorating…
    A very encouraging BFTH !!!
    Thanks and blessings
