Happy Thursday, ladies! I hope you’re having a good week and getting all those last-minute things checked off your to-do list.

We have our first family get together for Christmas on Saturday, so I need to finish up all my gift wrapping and baking soon.

Today I’m sharing some affordable gift ideas from JCPenney. I’m also sharing a cold-weather outfit that will be perfect for winter weather.

I love the colors in this sweater. I’ve worn a lot of red and green lately, so adding some brown to my wardrobe is a welcome change. Plus, it’s on sale for under $20.00.

They were blasting some Christmas music, so I had to do a little dancing. Haha!

How cute are these winter boots? They’re under $100, and they’re stain and water-resistant.

Winter weather calls for a warm winter coat. This puffer coat is warm and stylish, and it has a removable hood.

Beauty for the Heart~~During the Christmas season we attend parties, we eat lots of good food, and we spend time with friends and family. And while these are all wonderful things, the most important thing we need to do is prepare our hearts for the One who came as a baby to live among us.

Today, spend some time reading the Christmas story (Luke 1-2). Let’s prepare our hearts for Christmas!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Yep! Staying in. Snuggling w/ cat, dog and hubby, not necessarily in that order. 😉
I saw this outfit on your Instagram, and I love it!

  2. This outfit is exactly what I wear when we have days like yesterday and today and it’s- 11 degrees Celsius with the wind chill, only I wear my Uggs. It’s too bad that JC Penny doesn’t ship to Canada anymore. I now have to load up on our trips across the border. I am the same way with my neck, it gets all the stress and tension. I actually have an appointment tomorrow with the chiropractor now that I’m ready for Christmas. Have a great day.
    Blessings

  3. Really cute outfit Cyndi! I recently rediscovered JCPenney and have been really pleased with all of my purchases. Good luck with your ‘to do’ list.

  4. Hi Cyndi ~ the whole outfit is adorable on you – and the grey and browns in the sweater look great with your coloring!

    Have a super day!

  5. Yes! PJ’s for NYEve sounds like a plan! We should tag it #jammieNY LOL
I think all these pieces from JCP are super cute, and as you said affordable, and this outfit is perfect for anyone 12 to 100.
I’ve been reading Luke, a chapter each night since Dec. 1, Jesus is THE reason for the season.
