Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing some summer style with Talbots. Whether you like a preppy look or a more laid back look, I’ve got you covered!

First up, I’m styling a white tank with a beautiful floral skirt. The tank is very soft and has a bateau neckline.
It’s a great summer staple to mix and match with your outfits; it also comes in several colors.
I always like to have a cardigan or jacket in case I get chilly indoors. I tied a simple navy cardigan around my neck.
This A-line skirt definitely says summer, but unfortunately, it’s almost sold out. Here are two more cute options here and here.
These multi-stripe sandals look so good with skirts and dresses. They have some memory foam added for comfort.
This summer, striped handbag is perfect for an everyday bag. It has plenty of room!
I wore this outfit to church on Sunday, with a mask, of course!

Next up, I have a more casual look with a graphic tee and midi skirt. This skirt is so versatile and will work with different tops, but I prefer a more fitted top with this flowy skirt.
I added a raffia fedora, which is perfect for a windy day.
The graphic Tee has a crew neckline and will be cute with denim shorts too.
This striped skirt is easy and effortless. I love the side pockets, and it’s lined.
Whether you’re headed out to dinner, or you’re on vacation, this is a great outfit.

Beauty For the Heart~~ I love this, I’m not sure who wrote it, but it’s worth reading.
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee? “Because someone bumped into me!!!”
Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It’s easy to fake it until you get rattled.
*So we have to ask ourselves… “what’s in my cup?”*
When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratefulness, peace, and humility? Anger, bitterness, harsh words, and reactions?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let’s work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, kindness, gentleness, and love for others.

Sorry for the late comment. It sounded like you thought the Red Hanger sale at Talbots was for cardholders only. I think the sale is for everyone, but cardholders get an extra 5% off. Hope this helps.

I have primarily shopped Talbots for years, mainly because of the extensive selections in Petite sizes. So, I’m so glad you’ve included Talbots in your selections.
I bought the graphic tee last month and have worn it with navy shorts, red capris, yellow capris, and a pair of slim cotton slacks that have been a Talbots summer staple in my closet for years. I love that tee!

Today is my 59th bday and we were supposed to go on a stay-cation to the JWMarriott this weekend but we canceled because my daughter was exposed to the virus and it has spiked once again in our area. . So I am working on staying positive and being grateful for having a birthday and being safe and healthy today.
