Plaid Blazer + Boyfriend Jeans: 22 Days of Fall Fashion

Happy Friday, friends! Today I’m sharing a plaid blazer from Target, and I paired it with a pair of premium brand boyfriend jeans.

I love a cute blazer, and this one from Target does not disappoint. (The link takes you to a black blazer, but the plaid blazer is online, search blazers on the Target site.)

My black pumps are by Vince Camuto, and I’ve had them for several years. They’re a great classic pump that can be worn with jeans, pants, and dresses.

The blazer has a classic menswear cut that’s made feminine with a cinched waist.

Boyfriend jeans are a fun option with a classic blazer. These are 7 For All Mankind, which is a pricier pair of jeans. I’m linking a less expensive pair with excellent reviews.

If I worked outside the home and had a casual Friday dress code, this is what I would wear.

My Look

Plaid Blazer (I’m wearing an XS)//Black Camisole (I’m wearing a small)//Boyfriend Jeans (I’m wearing a size 27, less expensive option here)//Black Pumps (I sized up 1/2 size)//Earrings//Bracelet//Black Handbag (similar option here)

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Now head over and see what Jo-Lynne Shane is styling today!

Beauty For the Heart~~ Last night, we had an outdoor women’s event at church. My friend, Dr. Jennifer Degler, shared a short message.

She said we have all had to change our plans this year during Covid-19, and for many of us, that’s hard. We like our plans; we cling to our plans. You might say we want to control things.

But she reminded us that we could hang on to our plans, or we can hang on to the Lord’s hand.

Let’s grab His hand today!

  1. So classy
Thank you for sharing Jennifer..on your blog.
Such a blessing how she presents Gods word!
We are also studying Isaiah at my church.

  2. What makes these boyfriend jeans? I thought boyfriend jeans were supposed to be baggy? I love blazers and used to wear them all the time. I think I may need to look for a couple.

  3. Love the jacket and its looks great on you. I don’t comment very often
but I look forward to your email everyday.

Thank you very much for all you do and to keep us ladies look great!!
God Bless and stay safe to be safe.

  4. Love this outfit, Cyndi – So stylish! You look so relaxed when you model – Not something that some models can achieve. I enjoy seeing your daily looks!

  5. The link takes me to a black jacket, which is cute too. I LOVE that plad tho. What colors are in the plad jacket?? I’d love to find it in store maybe!!!

  6. This is the third time in 2 days that I have shared this quote from John Piper. I guess we are all going through changes.

“Occasionally weep deeply over the life you hoped would be. Grieve the losses. Then wash your face. Trust God and embrace the life you have.”

  7. Love this whole look on you!!! But when I go to Target, ow matter how many ways I search the plaid jacket pic reverts back to the black 😥. Maybe they’re restocking???

  8. Love this blazer!! Wouldn’t mind seeing it styled in a more casual way . Looks like you could easily dress it up or down.
    Have a great weekend 😊

  9. You hit a home run with this one! I love a blazer with jeans and you picked the perfect pair of jeans to go with this outfit. I’d get it if I still worked in an office and if the XS wasn’t sold out.

  10. I love this look! I work in a very casual dental office and I think this would be perfect. I’ve never worn heels with jeans but I want to!
